The article analyses the development of Russian-Bulgarian relations after February 24, 2022. The author draws attention to the fact that in the post-socialist period Sofia has developed a practice of viewing bilateral relations with Moscow not as an independent direction of foreign policy, but as a secondary part of a more general task of integrating the country into Euro-Atlantic community. Because of that the reaction of the Bulgarian political mainstream to the beginning of a special military operation of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine does not represent anything fundamentally new, but rather looks like a logical development of the traditions of Bulgarian diplomacy of recent decades. At the same time, the article emphasizes the presence of political players in Sofia who are interested in adjusting the course of Bulgarian-Russian relations by reducing their dependence on ideological and geopolitical factors.

An original approach is described that can be used in the analysis and assessment of the applicability of the concept of crowdsourcing during the optimization of business processes in organizations. The approach is based on the application of standardized techniques in conceptual modeling used in computer science and on the business process modeling used in management science. The main objective is to reduce the specific risks associated with the lack of a universally accepted universal definition and classification of the different variants of the phenomenon of crowdsourcing. The main elements of the approach and the theoretical foundations on which it is based are presented, and three examples are given in order to illustrate its application.

The article presents studies on demography in the Republic of Moldova in the late XX – early XXI century. It is noted that after 1991 the close attention of researchers, journalists, public organizations is focused on the problems of demography. The authors trace the dynamics of demographic processes in Moldova, determine the causes and possible consequences of negative processes, offer solutions to improve the situation. Conventionally, we can divide all publications into three categories: 1) works that consider the demographic situation and its dynamics in the country as a whole; 2) work on migration issues; 3) works on ethnodemography, i.e. dedicated to demographic processes in the environment of ethnic communities. However, there are not many special ethno-demographic studies on Ukrainians in Moldova. The article also discusses the main sources for ethnodemographic research: population censuses, current accounting of demographic events, special sample surveys, lists and registers of the population. An analysis of each group of sources is given from the point of view of their informativeness for a full-fledged ethno-demographic study of Ukrainians in Moldova

The article examines the weaknesses in the protection mechanisms for vulnerable energy consumers in Bulgaria. The thesis that the lack of adequate protection mechanisms causes the emergence of a fourth pillar of energy poverty beyond the three most frequently cited pillars – high energy prices, low incomes and low level of energy efficiency of buildings – is justified. An overview of the mechanism for household access to justice in the energy sector in Bulgaria is provided, starting with the national ombudsman, municipal ombudsmen and ombudsmen in energy companies. The main problems, encountered in energy justice for households in this sector are summarized, as well as the way in which state institutions respond to these problems. The study concludes that the Bulgarian citizens face high levels of energy injustice and poverty, which they have to fight using ineffective consumer protection mechanisms. This effectiveness depends on persons in charge, not on legal and administrative processes.

A classification of habitats based on the topographic position of biotopes and plant communities, which diagnose them, is proposed. A map of undisturbed habitats of the watershed areas of the southern tundra of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug was compiled, which are subdivided into 5 categories at the second and 12 at the third level and correspond to 17 syntaxa.

This paper discusses the synthesis regularities of new composite materials via combustion processes and their features of physicochemical transformations for task of a modern technology. In early studies, the authors showed the possibility of synthesizing composite materials via centrifugal SHS metallurgy, in which the combustion of thermite mixtures and the chemical transformations were studied. The compositions, structures and mechanical properties of the synthesized materials were also investigated

The article examines important aspects of spatial differences in three leading areas - social, economic and environmental. The main aim is to present the results of the development and approbation of an author's methodology for assessing the existence of "inclusive regional development" – a development that does not lead to critical regional differences. The methodology is applied to assess the inclusive economic development in EU countries. Its application at a district level for Bulgaria allows to determine those of them that are the most problematic and do not meet the requirements for inclusive development in terms of economic, social and environmental dimensions. Lastly, the results of the research and analysis are summarized.
