The article analyzes the attitude of young people to the actions of the Government of the Russian Federation to reduce the risks of a pandemic. The attitude contains multilevel ideas about what should be and what exists in the activities of government structures and is reflected in value judgments. They are considered in the mainstream of traditional analysis: in relation to age, educational level, types of activity; within the framework of the concept of self-regulation of youth life: in connection with archetypes, individual features of mentality, habitual attitudes. Despite the fact that the Government of the Russian Federation received unequivocal support from less than a third of the young people surveyed, the most critical were the groups of young people aged 18 to 29, who combine work and study and do not trust the executive power. The least critical are students and unemployed youth who trust the executive power authorities. The article substantiates the conclusion that the authorities have a stable support among young people, who share the archetypes of "guilt" and "good", the value attitude "love for the motherland" and the high habitual attitude toward "reliability and constancy." But the most significant factor that increases positive attitude to the institutional regulation of the risks of the pandemic is youth trust to the Government of the Russian Federation.

The article is based on the study "Political identification of youth in the Moscow region" conducted in May-June 2021 on the basis of the Center for Political Science of the ISPR FCTAS RAS. It describes the features of the political and ideological identification of youth in Moscow and the Moscow region, which are considered as the most important factor in political behavior and civil activity. The authors identified the groups of young people according to their self-identification, based on a civilizational approach. Revealing the positions of different groups of young people regarding the present and future of Russia demonstrates a high level of social optimism among those who demonstrate adherence to the Russian cultural matrix. In turn, in the groups where orientations towards the Western culture prevail, there is a more pessimistic attitude towards both their future and the prospects for the country's development.

The article is a review of the bilingual collective monograph "Military Sciences versus War Science in Austria and Russia (Militärwissenschaften versus Wissenschaft über Krieg in Österreich und Russland)". The monograph under review is the result of a Russian-Austrian scientific seminar on problems of war and military science. Book consists of two sections. In the first section, the authors of the monograph consider a number of methodological and ideological problems of the war. They give reflections on the essence of military science, the importance of strategy in the implementation of the military-doctrinal provisions of the state. The conceptual understanding of the strategy is considered. Attention is paid to the essence of the concept of «modern war». Particular emphasis in the monograph is placed on the study of the scientific militaryhistorical heritage, the importance of economic, informational, spiritual aspects of the content of modern wars. The trends of «denationalization» of modern wars are shown. The second section of the collective monograph is devoted to applied aspects of modern warfare. In it, the co-authors of the monograph studied the issues of the use of military force in modern society, its use by politics. The problems of the methodology of war are raised, and in particular, the nature of war. Attention is paid to hybridity, consistency, complexity, asymmetry of war. For a better understanding of the essence of war, the concept of "image of war" is introduced into the monograph, characterizing its internal and external manifestations. Considered the idea of developing polemological research in Russia and in the world. Turning to the system of military education in Austria and Germany, the authors postulate the need to preserve the military component in education, which is the basis of the military profession. The publication of such a bilingual joint Russian-Austrian collective monograph should be positively regarded not only from a scientific point of view, but also as a factor in establishing scientific and business contacts in such difficult geopolitical changes in the world.

The article is devoted to the analysis of modern processes of interregional cooperation in the Far East in the context of regionalization. The analysis was based on Russian-Chinese interregional interaction. Based on the theory of new regionalism, the contemporary role of regions in the 21st century was determined. The Russian foreign policy strategy "Turn to the East", outlined in 2014, has established new prospects for interaction between Russian and Chinese regions in the Far East. An analysis of the work of Russian and Chinese scientists, plans, programs for maintaining Russian-Chinese cooperation, annual reports of departments, committees for international cooperation under the administrations of the Russian regions allows us to highlight the general trade, economic, economic, socio-cultural and scientific-technical problems of interregional cooperation. The main ones include: spontaneity and randomness of interaction between the regions of Russia and China in the last decade of the twentieth century; mutual trust in Russian-Chinese interregional relations; imbalances in the development of transport and logistics infrastructure of the Northeast of China and the Far East of Russia; problems of sectoral complementarity of the border regions of Russia and China.

The article examines the problem of the priority of preserving and increasing the resident population of the Far East due to demographic challenges and risks of negative political consequences in connection with the increasing trend of depopulation of the territories of the Far Eastern Federal District and the threat of loss of national sovereignty. The author identifies significant challenges of a demographic nature. The purpose of the study is to identify demographic challenges and risks using the means of political science analysis: their socio-political consequences in the Far Eastern Federal District. Achieved results: 1) using the author's definition of socio-political reality as a potential and actualized political being, the understanding of the peculiarities of socio-political reality in the Far Eastern Federal District as its subregional variety, formed under the influence of certain challenges and risks, and at the same time generating new ones that can pose threats to national security, is revealed; 2) justified the priority of preserving and increasing the resident population of the Far East due to demographic challenges and risks of negative political consequences in connection with the increasing trend of depopulation of the territories of the Far Eastern Federal District and the threat of loss of national sovereignty; 3) significant demographic challenges identified.

As a part of the tasks provided by "The Decree of the President of the Russian Federation" dated 07.05.2018 No. 204 «On National Goals and Strategic Tasks for the Development of the Russian Federation in the Period up to 2024», one of the key directions in modern social research is the study of the life of the older generation in the structure of a multi-generational family. Special attention is paid to the role of the monogamous family in solving the current problems of the modern young family, as well as the upbringing of the younger generation of Russians. In this regard, the analysis of the regional study «The Life of Multi-generational Family in the Conditions of Self-isolation», conducted under the supervision of prof. T. K. Rostovskaya in 2020 in Moscow, is relevant.
