Although Mustafa Kemal tried to explain various possible solutions by meeting with the Sultan Vahideddin on various occasions over time, he had found a will less and desperate sultan. There was no leader capable of planning and implementing a great organization that could save the country from invasion. However, Mustafa Kemal knew the enemy very well. He knew very well that this enemy, which he was defeated in Gallipoli, would destroy the Turkish Homeland no matter how much concessions were made. The solution could be nothing more than a total struggle with a handful of forces at hand, putting all its assets out. Because, according to Mustafa Kemal, "a nation was better be perish than live as a prisoner". While all these historical facts are obvious, the purpose of some historians insistently portraying Sultan Vahideddin as a hero Is Sultan Vahideddin a "traitor" who collaborated with the British during the armistice period and / or is it degenerate by simply asking for the continuation of his reign, as Mustafa Kemal Pasha said in Speech? Or is he a hero who started the War of Independence by assigning Mustafa Kemal Pasha to Anatolia? Purpose of the study; To evaluate the influence of Sultan Vahideddin on Mustafa Kemal Pasha's transition to Anatolia by examining the relations between Vahideddin and Mustafa Kemal Pasha since October 30, 1918.
