This book analyzes the drivers of changes in Polish foreign policy in last ten years in the context of the EU membership. It explores Polish transition from a policy taker to policy-maker and shows how Poland shapes the EU policy towards the Eastern neighbors through case studies of agreement negotiations with Ukraine and Russia and the establishment of the Eastern Partnership. It provides an insight into national and EU policy making in the area of external relations and tracks different variables that contribute to policy change. It shows how Poland used the policy vacuum on the EU level concerning the relations with the Eastern neighbors to pursue its interests and points to domestic and international constrains of Polish influence.

Celem rozważań podjętych w artykule była analiza jednego ze sposobów budowania relacji w rodzinie między rodzicami i dziećmi oraz wychowania w rodzinie opartej na negocjacjach. W artykule dokonano rekonstrukcji źródeł koncepcji negocjacji i negocjowania w dyskursie nauk społecznych, przedstawiono strukturę procesu negocjacji, jego fazy i czynniki, a także możliwe ujęcia dominujące, m.in. w zarządzaniu, socjologii, psychologii czy pedagogice, odnoszące się do procesów uzgadniania reguł, ścierania się różnych wersji tożsamości, symbolicznej interakcji czy negocjowania tożsamości. Analizując przemiany w rolach i relacjach rodzicielskich, autorka ukazuje rodzinę jako przestrzeń negocjacji oraz charakteryzuje strukturę procesu negocjacji w rodzinie. Dokonuje również charakterystyki poszczególnych obszarów negocjowania (w) rodzinnej codzienności, ukazując wychowanie jako proces negocjowania relacji w odniesieniu do istniejących koncepcji wychowania m.in. wychowania autorytatywnego w ujęciu D. Baumrind czy demokracji wychowawczej w ujęciu L. Kohlberga i R. Mayer. Na zakończenie, odwołując się do koncepcji edukacji i demokracji J. Dewey'a, analizuje konteksty pedagogii negocjacji w rodzinie.

Abstract
The article is focused on Tatar ethnic group. It tries to show on its example, how one can be open on other cultures without losing one's identity and how to persevere in a different cultural environment. It refers to Tatars' religious writings as the source helpful in maintaining cultural identity. An example of connection between Tatar translations and European tradition of translation, is used to characterize both permeation of cultures and features which served to build cultural separateness of Tatars living in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.

Many aspects of the global economy changed during the Covid-19 pandemic, including the real estate market. This study examines the primary residential property market in Opole during the Covid-19 pandemic. It uses property transaction data from 2018 to 2021 to conduct statistical analyses and independent group tests and also takes into account the real-estate price trend from 2014 to 2020. The study finds that both property prices and preferences relating to the structure and location of housing changed during the pandemic. In the case of Opole, the number of transactions involving residential units in the primary market increased in 2020 compared to previous years. After adjusting the unit price value of residential properties for the trend in the pre-pandemic period, the study finds that there was also an increase in property transaction prices. The study confirms three important facts relating to phenomena that are occurring globally in cities today. First, local communities are more diverse in terms of the economic heterogeneity of real estate buyers. Second, unlike big urban areas, small cities may be more resistant to the process of citizens migrating to suburban areas, thereby limiting the negative phenomenon of urban sprawl. Third, the housing real estate market in small cities is considered a reliable form of investment of assets, as real estate prices increased during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hałas w środowisku pracy umysłowej jest jednym w czynników negatywnie wpływających na koncentrację uwagi, zdolność przetwarzania informacji, liczbę popełnianych błędów oraz wydajność i komfort pracy. Celem badań omawianych w artykule była ocena wpływu warunków akustycznych na odczuwane obciążenie i zmęczenie pracowników biurowych. Przedstawione wyniki odnoszą się do subiektywnej oceny (dokonanej przez grupę 39 osób w wieku od 20 do 34 lat) pracy wykonywanej w różnych warunkach akustycznych (wariant W1 – bez prezentacji bodźców akustycznych, wariant W2 – dźwięki pochodzące od wyposażenia biurowego, wariant W3 – dźwięki pochodzące od wyposażenia biurowego z cichą rozmową w języku polskim w tle, wariant W4 – dźwięki pochodzące od wyposażenia biurowego z głośną rozmową w języku polskim w pobliżu, wariant W5 – filtrowany szum różowy). Wyniki badań wskazują na istotne statystycznie większe rozkojarzenie (w wariancie W3) i zmęczenie (w wariantach W3, W4 i W5) oceniane według skali Grandjeana. Wyniki kwestionariusza NASA-TLX świadczą zaś o związanych z pracą: znacznym obciążeniu psychicznym, silnej presji czasu oraz wysiłku. Te wyniki nie były jednak istotne statystycznie.
