Any-mega development project, such as the Tarbela Dam, causes significant dislocation and relocation to human populations. The Tarbela Dam project involved relocation of more than 95,000 people. Besides housing, this relocation caused numerous social, economic, and cultural problems. This study was conducted in order to uncover a gender perspective on the Tarbela Dam relocation. This study employs a qualitative-ethnographic research design in order to collect data from the Tarbela Dam affectees. The location of the study was that of relocated communities in districts Haripur, Mansehra and Swabi. Data was collected through interview, FGD and observation. The study found that relocation has caused significant changes in women's dress code, marriage patterns and education.

For over 40 years Boeing has published an annual forecast for the growth of air travel worldwide. Current Market Outlook has become a standard reference for planners in government and industry. Major methodological changes in the forecast occurred in mid of 1990. These were a result of rethinking the data, methods, and models. It turns out standard approaches over-emphasized the effect of GDP. On the other hand, statistics found a convincing and cogent link between trade and travel, even though the data appeared entirely random. Finally, a startlingly simple approach established the hitherto elusive link between travel and service quality. This talk is a light-hearted review of the things we did wrong and fixed, and the things we are still worried about. It provides a bittersweet contrast between the ways of industry and academia. As a bonus we introduce Occam's Toothbrush an entirely new, hopelessly backwards, and entirely un-publishable way industry does hypothesis testing, but doesn't realize it.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between financial variables and systematic risk. The studied variables are explored as determinants of systematic risk. This study analyzed the annual data over the period of 2005-2015 from selective industry. To test the studied hypotheses simultaneously, panel tests were applied along with multiple regression analysis approach. The findings of sugar industry have shown that liquidity, leverage (insignificant), operating efficiency, dividend payout, and chin model are inversely associated while profitability and Tobin q (insignificant) are positively related with Systematic risk. The regression results show that significant association of liquidity, profitability, operating efficiency, growth, dividend payout and chin model are with earlier studies. The studied variables have decisive impact for determinants of Systematic risk. Findings are fruitful for all stakeholders to maximize the returns by reducing the risk factors.

The study conducted in arid areas of Dera Ghazi Khan occasionally affected by hill torrents (Suri-Lund, Vidore, Sakhi-Sarwar, Mithawan) coming from Koh-e-Suleman range. The study found that hill torrent water is used for agriculture, domestic and livestock. The management of this water significantly affects on income, crop yield, soil fertility, health conditions and living standard of farmers. The local cost effective methods to store this water include wah, dubba and bundh but most of water is wasted as they are insufficient. The water distribution mechanism fosters cooperation and helps to form new relations with co-farmers. The study suggested that government and NGOs should help people to construct concrete diversions, bundhs, ponds and dams to manage hill torrent water.

This study explores the effect of differentiated teaching method vs. traditional teaching method on students' learning at 'A' level. It is an experimental research, conducted in Aitchison College. By applying simple random sampling technique, 70 students are selected as a sample from the population. Pre-test and post-test are conducted for data collection. Research investigates, how differentiated method of teaching effects learners' academic achievement. The retention level of the students who are taught via differentiated teaching and traditional teaching method is. After conducting a posttest, data is analyzed with pair-sample and independent sample t-test by using SPSS. Analysis shows that the students taught via differentiated teaching have more power of retention than the students taught via traditional teaching methods. The control group perform up to application level while experimental group perform up to evaluation level of cognitive domain.

Abstract

Objective
The virtualization of the aesthetic experience influences the scope of artistry and creativity of visual artwork and the quality of participation in visual arts. Due to variances in perception qualities between individuals belonging to particular generations, this article aims to assess the impact of the participation form (physical/traditional or digital) on the aesthetic situation of recipients from certain generations. The quality of participation in visual arts was assessed using ten criteria.


Methodology
Quantitative data exploration from a survey undertaken using a digital instrument provided by SURVIO based on a worldwide sample from 22 countries (n = 87). Due to the relatively ephemeric character of the research problem, an additional qualitative analysis of the statistical results was performed.


Findings
The participation form (online or in-real) in visual arts determines participation quality level of the aesthetic situation of particular generations. Significant differences exist among generations in online and in-real participation in visual arts and between particular forms of participation. This article did not look for the reasons for these differences; only additional comparative qualitative research can try to reveal them.


Value Added
It is the first analysis of the impact of digitalization of visual arts from the perspective of visual arts consumers' behavior based on the components of aesthetic situation theory.


Implications
The research results should be of interest to: 1) Visual arts creators looking for the optimal way of distributing artworks among recipients from different generations; 2) Visual arts managers and marketers for a multi-layered understanding of generation-diversified visual arts recipients' perspectives and their preferences about participation in visual arts in-real or digitally; 3) Visual arts customers (recipients) who wish to compare their own views about participating in visual arts with those of other recipients belonging to certain generations.

Gender is an ongoing phenomenon and no finality about gender perception and representation can be had. Different variables play a significant role in shaping gender perceptions. Similarly, the present research critically analyzes the written essays from the students of government and non-government school systems in Punjab Pakistan about doing gender. The data was collected on 10 October 2020 from the students of Bacon House school at Multan and Government Elementary School at Vehari. It was collected under four major headings including religion, economy, social roles and physical attributes about being male and female. The present research has employed Mills (1995) model of Feminist Stylistic Analysis because half of the participants include female and half are of male gender. Moreover, the researchers have also implied Fairclough's 2012 model of Critical Social Analysis which argues that in order to analyze a text one should know normative and Marxist critique of language. The rationale behind using these research models is to know the effect of economy on the perception and representation of gender from the participants of different school systems. The analytical categories of the amended research model include; normative critique, representation, marxist critique and critical social analysis. The findings of the research reveal that economy is a significant feature in making and rapturing an individual's perception about being male and female because the students belonging to non-government school systems have expressed their views about being a male and female more in terms of economy as compared to their counterparts. Additionally, the research confirms that doing gender never stops.
