The article defines the state and content of research methodology related to the activities of religious organizations in the sphere of execution of punishments, as well as the necessity of activating scientific developments on this issue, taking into account the reforms that are being carried out in the Ukrainian criminal-executive system. the current state of criminal-executive activity in Ukraine suggests that the effectiveness of using the opportunities of these public associations in the correctional and resocialization process of convicts, in particular in places of deprivation of liberty, is rather low and ineffective. Thus, in fact, annually, starting from 1991 to date, sentenced to imprisonment commit from 300 and more crimes and offenses, as well as other adventures (suicide - up to 20 cases, self-inflicted - more than 100, natural death - almost 1 thousand. All this, in the final analysis, has a very negative effect on the state of execution and execution of criminal penalties in Ukraine and acts as one of the determinants, which causes and determines the commission of new crimes, that is, leads in practice to improper fulfillment of one of the key tasks of the Ukrainian criminal-law enforcement (Article 1 of the Criminal Code), namely the prevention of the commission of new criminal offenses by both convicted persons and other persons. In addition, the low level of participation of religious organizations in criminal activities determines the use of torture and inhuman or degrading treatment of convicted persons from the staff of penitentiary organs and institutions, which also refers to one of the precautionary elements of the purpose of punishment (Part 3 of Article 1 of the Criminal Code). Using a combination of scientific methods such as comparative and logical-semantic, the article analyzes one of the objective signs of the composition of a criminal offense, which refers to the attempt on the life of a defense lawyer or representative of a person in connection with activities related to the provision of legal assistance. The point of view of scientists on the view of this problem, which relates not only to the noted crime, but also, to the problems of justice in general, is subject to criticism. Bringing a person to criminal responsibility should always be related to the establishment of a socially dangerous act, specific to the actions of a particular person. Under such conditions, it will allow to comply with the letter of the law and ensure the protection and provision of their constitutional rights and freedoms to every citizen. Everything allows to conclude that, the attempted murder of the indicated persons or their close relatives in connection with the activities related to the provision of legal aid can also be committed, both by action and omission. The article analyses legislation and scientific work on combating cybercrime based on the use of a set of general and special methods, methodological principles and approaches of legal science. It is concluded that with the introduction of the term "cybercrime" in the criminal law of Ukraine, the use of the term "cybercrime" becomes relevant, which should be understood as a socially dangerous crime in cyberspace, a responsibility that is provided for by the Ukrainian law on criminal responsibility and that is also recognized as a criminal offense by international treaties that regulate the matter. Emphasis is placed on the desirability of making appropriate terminological changes in the Law of Ukraine "On the Basic Principles of Cyber Security" and other regulations, as well as taking other systemic measures at the conceptual and organizational level, to identify the main cybersecurity threats and formulate measures to prevent and investigate them, determine a single body for the operational management of all entities whose task is to ensure the cybersecurity, create a system of technological means of the national cybersecurity system and establish closer international cooperation.
