International audience ; This article is intended to study the discursive strategies of several political figures, particularly present in the field of communication and media in contemporary Russia over the last ten years. The qualitative analysis of a corpus selected according to several criteria, including the dialogical nature of the exchanges, makes it possible to identify discursive representations of national identity that are part of a broader model that Russian officials are seeking to promote before their audiences. Secondly, this study shows how these identity representations are used in discursive strategies for the purposes of legitimation. These include processes aimed at arguing the identity model that power proposes to society while legitimising its place in the vanguard of the nation. On the other hand, legitimacy is sought by the Russian authorities through the strategy of self-representation where the different features of a collective identity allow the construction of an individual ethos of a legitimate leader and an institutional ethos of a political power identified with the Nation.
International audience ; The development of digital technology and the absence of the borders of the Net raises the question of the scope of national legislation in many areas. The questions thus arise about the legal regime to which the media and expatriate journalists are subject. How is the law on Russian information applied in this case? What case law exists in this area? What other laws serve as the basis for prosecutions of the media and expatriate journalists? This communication is based on the the interviews with the journalists of the expatriate media located in Prague, Czech Republic. From this state of things, this paper questions the possible impact of the law on the autonomous Internet, adopted in the Duma. What are its objectives, its justification, its field of application, finally its place and its role for the concept of national sovereignty.

International audience ; The purpose of the article is to identify certain patterns in the use of discursive strategies, on the basis of which models of political communication are formed. The article provides a comparative analysis of two communication formats, "Direct Line with the President" in Russia and "Big National Debates" in France, which provide for direct contact of Presidents with representatives of different social groups. Special attention is paid to the use of speech strategies and tactics that are used in the presidential discourse to resolve conflict situations and achieve a certain consensus in case of disagreements. For this work, the methods of qualitative discourse analysis of the corps were used from a comparative perspective, taking into account the chronology of political contexts development in the two countries, the specifics of the audience, and the political and cultural characteristics of different societies. Communication models based on a set of discursive strategies are applied in relatively similar communication situations and often in changing political contexts, which suggests similarities and differences. The article concludes that, despite some differences, the communicative models in French and Russian politicians assume a similar task: to create an image of legitimate political power, based on the credit of the majority of the population. International audience ; This study analyses different modes of re-actualization of sovietisms in contemporary Russian political discourse. Based on a corpus including interviews and public speeches by Russian political leaders this paper is focused upon different ways of introducing sovietisms in thepolitical discourse (implicit references, metaphors or explicit intentional use) on one hand, and functions of sovietisms in the building of communicative strategies of Russian political power on the other. This paper highlights the correlation between transformed sovietisms in the contemporary political discourse and the target public represented by the middle Russian electorate.

International audience ; Doxa and Liquor: Historical and Cultural Representations in the Discourse of the Russian AuthoritiesThis article studies doxa elements applied to persuasion strategies, which Russian political leaders implement, drawing on common national istorical and cultural conceptions about liquor drinking, in order to overcome commonly accepted behavior stereotypes. The problem of strong liquor abuse in Russia seems to be a major concern for officials and politicians, who have taken different regulatory steps to curb consumption. In the wake of these measures, a discourse has emerged in order to justify government policies and gain credibility, which constitutes a communication challenge. The paradox seems to be that the instrumentalization by political discourse of doxic elements relevant to traditional representations about Russian drinking culture presumably aims at phasing out existing norms and promoting the new culture of moderate drinking.
