Power is a heavy, but great cross, which not every person is capable of carrying. It is both the right to decide the fate of the country and people, and a great responsibility. This is the choice to serve one's people, accompanied by numerous trials and overcoming of considerable life challenges. With the words «power» or «ruler», we see the image of a person endowed with a life grasp and willpower, who always retains a fi rmness of mind and is not afraid to oppose anyone. If he is gifted with the talents of a commander, strategist, politician and diplomat, the power is often able to shift all spiritual values to the background, and to put forward material desires and the possibilities of their realization. That is why, with all the fullness of one's power, it is important to remain a virtuous, merciful and humane person. However, history shows that even in our Orthodox land such statesmen are very rare. Alexander Nevsky is a striking example of a great, humane and just ruler. A great number of works of both church and secular nature have been written about the noble knyaz. Meanwhile, his outstanding personality will not cease to attract attention, and after hundreds of years, this topic will always be relevant to us, especially from the point of view of the social orientation of his activities.

The research describes the basic issues of interiorization, i.e. the development of youth social experience in the field of perception and understanding of moral and legal values, moral sense as a guideline of previous generations. Young people are considered as a particular social demographic group with their own psychophysiological characteristics. The author reviews the main problems of legal socialization of young people, the aspects of their negative attitude to the perception of the experience of previous generations. Social, economic and other factors influencing the development of the legal awareness of the youth are noted as well. The author provides recommendations for and ways of fostering positive views of the young generation on traditions and rules of coexistence, family, civic and national education. The guidelines for the transformation of the basic legal values (justice, equality, freedom, and conscience) in the minds of young people are defined.

In this paper, the authors analyse a new institution for the Russian legal system, namely, the contract of succession institution. It is a qualitatively new way to transfer property, which was legislated as a supplement to the existing grounds of succession.

It is noted that one of the advantages of this type of succession is that this type of agreement enables a property owner not only to outline the circle of successors during his/her lifetime but also to stipulate clear conditions for their entry into rights of succession. That is, thanks to this agreement, it becomes possible to determine to whom and what kind of property will be transferred after the death of the owner, and what conditions must be met for this.

In this paper, the authors correlate a contract of succession with mixed categories: they compare (only by some criteria) a contract of succession with a unilateral transaction - a last will and testament.

The authors conclude that the institution of the contract of succession is a symbiosis of succession and contractual legal relations (mixed nature), which may lead to certain problems in the future during the enforcement of the current legislation.

Background: The relevance of the study stems from the necessity to inform people about the work of the employment centers regarding the implementation of an effective state policy on the labor market. Thus, the article aims to identify the most and least popular public services provided by employment centers. This method of research on public awareness can be applied to study other public services in any city or region. Methodology: The basic approach used in the following study involved polling people on the streets of Moscow, the method of comparative and correlation analysis and statistical data analysis. Respondents were selected according to the requirements of the study, which enabled a detailed consideration of the awareness of people in Moscow regarding the public services provided by employment centers/local branches, as well as people's opinion on the quality of services provided by employment centers/local branches people applied to. Choice of the region – the city of Moscow – was made due to the highest concentration of people from different social strata, as well as representatives of different cultures. Findings: The paper presents the findings of the comprehensive study conducted during 2016 that allowed distinguishing three levels of demand for public services: - Level 1 including the most popular public service – "Assistance in job search"; - Level 2 which embraces services providing information on the labor market; - Level 3 covering public services that make it easier for people to find work. Little demand for public services "Vocational training of the unemployed" and "Career advice" prevents increasing the labor mobility in the times of crisis. The material of the article can be used in developing measures to improve the availability of information on job offers and the variety of services, as well as when preparing documents for the study of public awareness on operation of various government agencies. ; peer-reviewed

Providing charitable assistance has a long tradition. Its origins date back to the times of Kievan Rus, namely, to the adoption of Christianity and gradual adaptation to new social and cultural conditions, where there is room for sensitive treatment to those in need and those for whom any help and support, both material and moral, is really important. With the development of society, in the Middle Ages, communities, for which this activity could be considered crucial, were engaged in charity. The article analyzes the social and charitable activities of Empress Maria Feodorovna, mentions the social and charitable activities of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, and tells about the social and charitable activities of Princess Elizabeth Feodorovna. Thus, the authors described the social and charitable activities of the women of the imperial family and their significance in the present period.

The article presents the scientific biography of L.M. Drobizheva (1933–2021), who headed the Moscow School of Ethnic Sociology for many years. The article reveals the stages of the formation of ethnosociology in USSR and later in Russia — from its origin in the late 1960s as a method of field ethnographic research aimed at studying the ethno-social processes of Soviet society, to the formation by the end of the second decade of the XXI century as a branch sociological discipline that studies the processes and phenomena that arise in an ethnically marked social space. The article describes the transformation of the methodological approaches of the Moscow ethno-sociological school, the outstanding contribution of L.M. Drobizheva to the formation of the scientific method of the School, and its connection with social practice.

В статье рассмотрена социальная реклама СССР, направленная на решение задач, не теряющих актуальности и в современных условиях. К их числу можно отнести проблемы социальной защиты материнства и детства. Автором проанализированы информационные плакаты в годы Великой Отечественной войны и в послевоенный период. В работе отмечено, что в годы Великой Отечественной войны бойцов Красной Армии призывали защитить своих близких и государство обещало поддержать семьи защитников Родины, а в послевоенный период актуальной темой стали профилактика сиротства, профессиональная самореализация женщины, налаживание мирной жизни и строительство социального государства. ; Soviet social advertising aimed at solving problems that do not lose their relevance in modern conditions are examined in the article. The issues of social protection of motherhood and childhood might be considered as such. The Great Patriotic War and post-war informative posters are analysed in the article. The work notes that during The Great Patriotic War the soldiers of Red Army were called upon for the protection of their loved ones and the government promised to support their families, yet during post-war period the topics of orphanage prevention, woman's professional self-fulfillment, peace time rearranging and erection of social welfare state became relevant.
