POSSIBILITIES OF PEST ANALYSIS IN HEALTHCARE ON THE EXAMPLE OF STANDARDIZATION OF VISUALIZATION SYSTEMS
The article presents the results of the study of PEST analysis as a toolkit for solving problems of decomposition of the external environment when conducting economic research on the example of the healthcare system of the Russian Federation. The conducted PEST analysis showed that the process of standardization of visualization systems of medical organizations is characterized by positive technological and political factors of the external environment. The limiting process of standardization of information and navigation elements of healthcare facilities include social and economic factors, which are primarily due to the socio-economic characteristics of various subjects and territories of the Russian Federation. PEST analysis shows good operational characteristics in assessing the macroenvironment of standardization of imaging systems and can be applied to assess various processes in the healthcare of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. Decomposition of the external environment using PEST analysis allows you to obtain a hierarchical structure of the macroenvironment. The entire set of factors obtained in the PEST analysis can be ranked and used as the basis for other analyzes. Thus, PEST analysis has a wide arsenal of tools designed to help individual leaders and executive authorities in the health sector in general in making managerial decisions of varying degrees of complexity.
