The present article examines the idea of Ukraine's European integration and pro-Western trajectory in the discourse of the Ukrainian centre-right political forces in the first two decades of the country's independence. The study utilizes a qualitative discourse analysis focusing on speeches, publications and official political programms of the leaders and activists of the most influential factions of this political camp. It is argued that, while the National Democrats and their ideological and political successors were most pro-Western among the major political forces in Ukraine during this period, their discourse of Euro-Atlantic integration has been not devoid of contradictions and indecision. Also, the study has revealed a tangible evolution of this discourse starting from the late 1990s, which consisted in strengthening of the idea of European Ukraine and the country's prompt integration into the key Euro-Atlantic structures endorsed by the new leaders of the centre-right camp.

The present article analyses the ideological foundations of the discourse of Ukrainian centrist forces concerning Ukraine"s foreign trajectory. Following independence the discourse of the major political groups, which can be identified as centrist, was rooted in the so-called «multi-vector» doctrine. It is argued that, despite its inherent logic of pragmatism and balancing between "East" and "West", their multi-vector discourse was in fact dominated by a pro-Russian inclination. This feature of the vision of Ukraine"s international standing formed an important ideological background for some key geopolitical decisions of Yanukovych administration.Key words: centrist forces; Ukraine"s foreign trajectory; "multi-vector" discourse; pro-Russian inclination. Розглянуто ідеологічні засади політичного дискурсу центристських сил щодо їхнього трактування вибору зовнішньополітичного вектора України. Протягом періоду української незалежності дискурс основних політичних груп, які можна ідентифікувати як центристські, перебував під впливом т.зв. «багатовекторності». Всупереч прагматичності та логіці балансування між Сходом і Заходом, їхній дискурс багатовекторності загалом характеризувався проросійською спрямованістю. Therefore, the strategy of sustainable development is focused on the primary factors that ensure human development and the realization of man's divine inalienable right to a full life. The central link in the realization of this right is the organization of the system of medical care, primarily for mothers and children. Perinatal care determines the level of socio-economic development of the country in the global environment and is determined by the perspective of the modern international economy in terms of acceptability of generations, determines the level of competitiveness of national production and its final consumption. The conducted research characterized the goals and objectives of the WHO to implement the strategy of sustainable development, namely that every woman, every child, and adolescent anywhere in the world could realize the right to health. This goal national governments must achieve by the end of 2050. Therefore, from the perspective of this concept, an assessment of perinatal health care was carried out.
