En el derecho británico, las referencias jurídicas de lo que en la actualidad identificamos como «derecho a privacidad» están íntimamente relacionadas con la protección de la información personal de los ciudadanos. La Data Protection Act 1984 fue una legislación precursora en materia de protección de datos, que llegó a inspirar a la propia Directiva 95/46/CE (ahora derogada por el Reglamento General de Protección de Datos 2016/679). Una segunda etapa para la protección de la privacidad en el Reino Unido se consolidó con la aprobación de la Human Rights Act 1998 (a imagen y semejanza del Convenio Europeo de Derechos Humanos), que supuso un punto de inflexión para el sistema legal anglosajón (e hizo las funciones de una Bill of Rights en el ordenamiento constitucional británico) y que, a partir de entonces, reconoció el derecho a la privacidad en su artículo 8. En la actualidad, esta cuestión se encuentra en una tercera etapa, integrada por distintos acontecimientos y cuyo futuro está aún por determinar. Por una parte, se ha producido una disminución del alto estándar de protección del que gozaba la privacidad en el Reino Unido a través de la legislación especial dictada en los últimos quince años. En segundo lugar, el brexit obliga a reconsiderar el modelo de protección de la privacidad, así como la protección de datos, pues, cuando se efectúe la desconexión, el Reino Unido será considerado un «tercer Estado» y el flujo de datos entre este y la UE serán «transferencias internacionales». Mientras tanto, ha entrado en vigor el Reglamento de Protección de Datos, directamente aplicable también en el Reino Unido y que, hasta el momento de su salida de la Unión Europea, obliga a la legislación británica a adaptarse al nuevo articulado europeo, como se ha hecho mediante la Data Protection Act 2018.

A principios de la década de los treinta, una serie de acontecimientos concernientes a los procesos culturales en el Río de la Plata, en concreto en Uruguay, favoreció una recepción particularmente sensible de los problemas político, sociales y económicos latentes en España que redundó en el estrechamiento de vínculos con grupos de intelectuales y artistas españoles que llegaron a ambos márgenes del Río de la Plata. In Argentina and Uruguay, a figurative art stream developed in correlation to the social, political and economic deterioration in both societies gained importance, consolidating, in the cultural esphere, ideological associations that would "mothered" the art from avant garde galician artists. These focus of galician culture have managed to thrive till present day bringing frontiers closer and encouraging the proximity between societies from both continents. "The last lesson of two masters" is an article about the friendship between Alfonso Daniel Rodriguez Castelao and Eduardo Dieste. This relationship is an example of this immigration flow related to the cultural activity between Galicia and the "Rio de la Plata".

Most of the efforts in recent years to improve efficiency and accountability in the curriculum reforms of the professional instrumental learning in Spanish conservatories, have been carried out from the perspectives of the student and the teacher, the pedagogical suitability and the political circumstances. However, the viewpoints of the instrumental practitioner with diverse itineraries appears barely explored. To configure training programs according to the work reality, it is also necessary to understand this dimension. ; La mayoría de los esfuerzos en los últimos años para mejorar la eficiencia y la responsabilidad en las reformas curriculares del aprendizaje profesional instrumental en los conservatorios españoles, se ha realizado desde las perspectivas del estudiante y el docente, la adecuación pedagógica y las circunstancias políticas. Sin embargo, apenas aparece explorada la perspectiva del profesional instrumental con itinerarios dispares. Para poder configurar propuestas formativas afines a la realidad laboral existente se hace necesario también comprender esta dimensión.

SAQ is consistent with the most general Markov model of nucleotide substitution and, in particular, it allows for rate heterogeneity across lineages. Based on the algebraic and semi-algebraic description of distributions that arise from the general Markov model on a quartet, the method outputs normalized weights for the three trivalent quartets (which can be used as input of quartet-based methods). We show that SAQ is a highly competitive method that outperforms most of the well known reconstruction methods on data simulated under the general Markov model on 4-taxon trees. Objectives Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients show low serum levels of the Ag dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV/CD26), both soluble CD26 (sCD26) concentration and its DPP-IV activity. The aim of this study was to test if anti-DPP-IV/CD26 Abs (Anti-CD26) cleared sCD26. Design & methods Serum Anti-CD26 and Total titers (as comparison) of isotypes IgA, IgM and IgG as well as sCD26 concentration and DPP-IV activity were measured in a cohort of RA patients undergoing different biological and non-biological therapies (n = 105) and controls (n = 50). Results Anti-CD26 levels were increased approximately two-fold for each isotype in RA, were not related to the sCD26 clearance, showed several correlations with disease activity parameters, were significantly higher in smokers and they were not ACPA. Anti-CD26 Igs showed high diagnostic power (82% sensitivity and 96% specificity) and their levels differed amongst the different groups of patients stratified by the type of therapy. Conclusions As DPP-IV/CD26 is associated to factors triggering RA in the lung and periodontal tissue, these results suggest that Anti-CD26 isotypes may participate in pathogenesis and may be useful as biomarkers for earlier diagnosis and/or precision medicine ; This work was supported by an unrestricted medical grant from Pfizer Spain (WS1541122).
