Israeli-Moroccan relations and the Arab-Israel conflict, 1977-2002
In: Israel affairs, Band 10, Heft 3, S. 41-73
ISSN: 1353-7121
(DÜI-Hns)

Developments in the Jewish communities of Morocco 1956-76
In: Middle Eastern studies, Band 26, Heft 4, S. 465-505
ISSN: 0026-3206
The author discusses problems facing the Jewish community in Morocco from the fifties to the seventies. He asserts that despite the presence of an organized community, Jews in Morocco decreased continuously. Emigration to Israel and other countries was prevalent. Jewish schools were closing. One of the reasons for this trend was economic distress. However, emigration was made difficult by the Moroccan government which wanted Jewish financial resources invested in Morocco rather than Israel. (DÜI-Kwe)
