En diciembre del 2019 en la ciudad de Wuhan, provincia de Hubei, China comenzaron a aparecer pacientes con un tipo de enfermedad respiratoria atípica, estos primeros pacientes empezaron a presentar un cuadro respiratorio agudo que iban de formas leves a severas sin etiología identificable. Este primer grupo de pacientes tenían en común el contacto con un mercado de mariscos en Wuhan, esta primera pista llevo a plantear el origen zoonótico de este nuevo agente patógeno, posteriormente el gobierno chino aisló e identifico al microorganismo causante de este brote. Se descubrió que se trataba de un tipo de coronavirus, este nuevo coronavirus fue denominado como el síndrome respiratorio agudo severo coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2, 2019-NcOV) debido a su semejanza (80%) con el SARS-Cov. Debido a la gravedad del problema causado por la aparición del Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) el 11 de marzo del 2020 declara la situación como pandemia. El primer caso reportado en el Perú fue el 6 de marzo de un paciente de nacionalidad peruana con el antecedente de haber realizado viajes a diferentes países de Europa. Desde esta fecha el número de casos comenzó a aumentar considerablemente. Hasta el 17 de agosto del 2020 en el Perú se tienen 2793614 muestras procesadas de personas sospechosas para COVID-19, con 541493 casos confirmados, 2252121 negativos y 26481 ciudadanos fallecidos. Loreto una de las regiones de más difícil acceso en el país sumado el estado de emergencia decretado por el estado, nos hacía pensar que la llegada del COVID-19 no sería muy pronta y que su impacto muy limitado. Sin embargo, el 17 de marzo del 2020 seria anunciado el primer caso de un paciente con coronavirus en Loreto y con eso un aumento diario de pacientes positivos con dicha enfermedad. Este aumento desproporcionado de pacientes enfermos con COVID-19 hizo que el sistema de salud en la ciudad de Iquitos colapse. Ante este desborde en la atención hospitalaria se notaron muchas falencias que sufría el sector salud, que eran: falta de personal médico asistencial, infraestructura adecuada para atención de los pacientes sospechosos, medicamentos y oxigeno medicinal. Es por eso que el 19 de abril antes de un mes de registrado el primer caso COVID-19, la Direccion Regional de Salud Loreto (DIRESA-Loreto) hizo un llamado a todo personal de salud voluntario, con la capacidad de ayudar en el Hospital Regional de Loreto (Designado Hospital COVID para la region Loreto). Mi persona en mi condición de bachiller de medicina; sintiendome con las destrezas, habilidades y capacidades necesarias aprendidas en la Facultad de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana FMH-UNAP, acudí al llamado desesperado de las autoridades de salud de la region y en consecuencia motivan la presentacion de este Informe de Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional. ; In December 2019 in the city of Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, patients with an atypical type of respiratory disease began to appear. These first patients began to present an acute respiratory picture that ranged from mild to severe forms with no identifiable etiology. This first group of patients had in common the contact with a seafood market in Wuhan, this first clue led to raise the zoonotic origin of this new pathogen, then the Chinese government isolated and identified the microorganism causing this outbreak. It was discovered that it was a type of coronavirus, this new coronavirus was called the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2, 2019-NcOV) due to its similarity (80%) with SARS-Cov. Because of the severity of the problem caused by the appearance of Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) on March 11, 2020, it was declared a pandemic. The first case reported in Peru was on March 6 of a patient of Peruvian nationality with the background of having made trips to different European countries. Since this date the number of cases began to increase considerably. As of August 17, 2020, Peru has 2793614 processed samples of people suspected of having COVID-19, with 541493 confirmed cases, 2252121 negative and 26481 deceased citizens. Loreto, one of the most difficult regions in the country to access, added to the state of emergency decreed by the state, made us think that the arrival of the COVID-19 would not be very soon and that its impact would be very limited. ABSTRACT: The energy content of wind-waves is propagated across the oceans in the form of swell waves, the main drivers of long-term changes in coastal morphology and offshore hazards. A state-of-the-art swell tracking algorithm is applied to a global ensemble of CMIP5 dynamic wave climate projections, to assess future changes in remotely originated swell events towards the end of the 21st century, and how they propagate. The contribution of multiple wave generation areas is considered. It is found that the projected climate change signal is effectively propagated from the winds along the extratropical storm tracks to remote locations, in the tropical and subtropical latitudes, through swell waves. The statistically significant projected changes in swell wave heights and swell predominance at the remote swell arrival locations are comparable with the ones at the wave generation areas. Furthermore, different incoming directions for swell events at remote locations are shown to often carry opposite climate change signals, propagated from different remote origins. A quantile-based bias-correction method is applied to a seven-member dynamic ensemble of global wave climate simulations with the aim of reducing the significant wave height HS, mean wave period Tm, and mean wave direction (MWD) biases, in comparison with the ERA5 reanalysis. The corresponding projected changes toward the end of the twenty-first century are assessed. Seven CMIP5 EC-EARTH runs (single forcing) were used to force seven wave model (WAM) realizations (single model), following the RCP8.5 scenario (single scenario). The biases for the 1979?2005 reference period (present climate) are corrected using the empirical Gumbel quantile mapping and empirical quantile mapping methods. The same bias-correction parameters are applied to the HS, Tm (and wave energy flux Pw), and MWD future climate projections for the 2081?2100 period. The bias-corrected projected changes show increases in the annual mean HS (14%), Tm (6.5%), and Pw (30%) in the Southern Hemisphere and decreases in the Northern Hemisphere (mainly in the North Atlantic Ocean) that are more pronounced during local winter. For the upper quantiles, the bias-corrected projected changes are more striking during local summer, up to 120%, for Pw. After bias correction, the magnitude of the HS, Tm, and Pw original projected changes has generally increased. These results, albeit consistent with recent studies, show the relevance of a quantile-based bias-correction method in the estimation of the future projected changes in swave climate that is able to deal with the misrepresentation of extreme phenomena, especially along the tropical and subtropical latitudes. ; This work has been done under the auspices of the JCOMM Coordinated Ocean Wave Climate Project (COWCLIP). Parques urbanos servem como áreas de lazer e práticas de exercício, levando a preocupação do conforto térmico de seus usuários. O Parque Mãe Bonifácia, objeto deste estudo, encontra-se na cidade de Cuiabá-MT, sendo um fragmento de cerrado urbano, sofrendo com toda a sazonalidade do clima local, tendo períodos de seca rigorosa e períodos com precipitação. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho foi fazer uma análise da variação espaço-sazonal termohigrométrica pelo método da krigagem do referido Parque. Foram feitas medidas mensais de temperatura do ar e umidade relativa do ar nos horários entre às 10 e 12 horas. No período seco, as médias de temperatura do ar foram de 33,44 oC, já a média de temperatura para o período chuvoso foi de 31,09 oC. A média de umidade relativa do período seco foi de 43,34% e para período chuvoso 68,71%. Como resultado se percebeu a influência do entorno no parque, sendo as menores temperaturas do ar e maiores umidades relativas do ar as que ocorrem na região central do parque. Os ajustes dos semivariogramas foram considerados satisfatórios para 3 dos 4 períodos analisados, encontrando dificuldade em realizar o ajuste para a umidade relativa do ar no período chuvoso, tendo como a presença da água um possível causador dessa dificuldade. Para os dados de microclima do município de Cuiabá-MT, os resultados estão de acordo com as normais climatológicas e outros estudos realizados na mesma região.Palavras-chave: Semivariograma. Temperatura do Ar. Umidade Relativa do Ar. Precipitação.AbstractUrban parks serve as leisure areas and exercise practices, leading to concern about the thermal comfort of its users. Mãe Bonifácia Park, object of this study, is in the city of Cuiabá-MT, being a fragment of urban cerrado, suffering with all the seasonality of the local climate, having periods of strict drought and periods with precipitation. Thus the objective of this work was to make an analysis of the space-seasonalthermohygrometric variation through the kriging method of the aforementioned park. Monthly measurements of air temperature and relative humidity were taken at times between 10 and 12 hours. In the dry period the averages of the air temperature were 33.44oC, whereas the average temperature for the rainy period was 31,09oC. The mean relative humidity of the dry period was 43.34% and for the rainy season 68.71%. As a result the influence of the surroundings in the park was observed, being the lowest air temperatures and the hightest relative humidity of the air occurring in the central region of the park. The adjustments of the semivariograms were considered satisfactory for 3 of the 4 analyzed periods, finding it difficult to adjust for the relative humidity of the rainy season, with the presence of water being a possible cause of this difficulty. For the microclimate data of the municipality of Cuiabá-MT, the results are in agreement with the climate normals and other studies carried out in the same region.Keyword: Semivariogram.
