Homosexuality has always been a sensitive topic, a taboo in many social contexts. Recent literature has witnessed burgeoning academic attention in the translation of gay literature in the past two decades, while the translation of Chinese gay literature has remained largely unattended. This paper aims to study the translations, reprints and cross-medium retranslations of the modern Chinese founding works of gay literature, Nie Zi (Crystal Boys). The Chinese literary piece has been translated into English and reprints of the translation have appeared in U.S.A. and Hong Kong over the last three decades. It has also been adapted into film production, TV series and a stage performance. With the modern technology, these adaptation productions have been translated and fansubbed for the international audience. This paper will look at the translation of the title, the cover design, the back blurbs and the textual nuances as well for the book translation and its reprints. The fansubbed subtitle translations will also be scrutinized within the framework of retranslation. The English translation, reprints, cross-medium retranslation of Nie Zi proves to be a supporting case of what Harvey calls "gayed translation", through labelling strategies and other non-linguistic resources proposed by Mona Baker.

On July 11 and 12, 2019 the First China Animal Law Forum was held in Beijing, which was co-hosted by the Capital Animal Welfare Association and the Vshine Animal Protection Association. Over 130 people from mainland China, Hong Kong, USA and Africa took part in the forum, including professionals, lawyers, government, NGO, animal protection volunteers and others. The main topic was how to use laws creatively to protect animals. ; Entre los días 11 y 12 de julio de 2019 se llevó a cabo el primer Foro de Derecho Animal en China, el que fue co-organizado por la Capital Welfare Association y la Vshine Animal Protection Asociation. Más de 130 personas provenientes de la gran China, Hong Kong, Estados Unidos y África participaron en el Foro, entre los cuales se incluyeron profesionales, abogados, representantes gubernamentales, ONG y activistas, entre otros. El tema principal fue cómo utilizar las leyes, creativamente, en la protección animal.

Als im Jahre 1979 das Gesetz über die Öffnung der VR China für ausländische Direktinvestitionen (foreign direct investment FDD von der Regierung in Beijing verabschiedet wurde, war die Wirtschaft des Landes schon mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte lang der Reglementierung einer zentralen Planung unterworfen und gegenüber dem Ausland weitgehend abgeschottet. Stark verzerrte Produkt- und Faktormärkte waren die zwangsläufigen wie auch sichtbaren Folgen einer Wirtschaftspolitik, die sich nicht nach ökonomischen Effizienzkriterien richtete. Mit dem neuen Joint Venture Gesetz und einem Bündel von wirtschaftlichen Anreizen war es nun beabsichtigt, die wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen für ausländische Investoren so zu verbessern, daß mehr FDI ins Land strömen.

This study explored brain activation patterns in the executive function of children and adolescents following an exercise intervention. After computer retrieval of relevant studies, we independently screened the studies, extracted data, and assessed the quality. We used Ginger ALE 2.3
software to conduct activation likelihood estimation, then we discussed and calculated the activation cluster and activation probability of the brain regions of children and adolescents who completed an exercise intervention. After the exercise intervention, children and adolescents achieved
five peak activation enhancement points (total volume = 2,070 mm3) and six peak activation reduction points (total volume = 1,352 mm3) in the process of completing executive function tasks. The results indicate that the improvement in executive function
caused by an exercise intervention is the result of synergetic changes in multiple brain regions with increased and decreased activation.

The recent influx of immigrants to the United States and the corresponding growth in racial/ethnic diversity has increased the visibility of nonprofits that serve primarily people of color (POC). Combining data from an original survey with Form 990 tax returns and Census records, this study focuses on nonprofits designed to serve particular racial and ethnic groups. We explore whether organizations that serve mainly POC or those led by POC face greater financial challenges than others. We find that POC-serving or POC-led nonprofits experience greater financial difficulties stemming from additional challenges in resource development and management. However, POC-serving nonprofits led by executives of color did not show additional disadvantages compared with those serving mainly POC but led by White executives or POC-led nonprofits serving mainly White individuals. We discuss the implications of racialized organizations and how understanding this issue can help address the financial vulnerability of POC-serving nonprofits.
