Repositioning of Mass Organizations in the United Front
In: The China nonprofit review, Band 8, Heft 2, S. 269-292
ISSN: 1876-5149
After forming the Anti-Japanese national united front, Chinese Communist Party (ccp) hoped to develop mass organizations in "open," "democratic" and "mass-oriented" ways. The National Liberation Vanguards of China (nlvc) was a typical representative of left-wing mass organizations in kmt-controlled areas. During 1936-1939, nlvc's life course was a microcosm of ccp's adjustment in mass work. nlvc faced ordeals between inclusiveness and insistence, testing whether ccp could stick to principles in mass work. This paper conducts a case study centered on the nlvc, to analyze how ccp repositioned mass organizations during the Anti-Japanese War and explore how mass organizations affected the Party's vitality.

Supply chain channel conflict coordination with consumer network acceptance
In: Asia Pacific journal of marketing and logistics, Band 33, Heft 3, S. 846-868
ISSN: 1758-4248
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is an attempt to design a proper incentive coordination mechanism to deal with the channel conflicts between the traditional sales and online direct sales.Design/methodology/approachWith respect to the problems of channel conflicts between the traditional sales and online direct sales, to optimize the sale system and get more profits, considering the influences of consumer network acceptance, the authors establish demand and profit function based on consumer's utility, respectively. What's more, we exploit the game theory to analyze the optional decisions of the supply chain under the incentive coordination condition and no incentive coordination condition, and then we discuss the supply chain's optimal pricing, demand, profit and compensation incentive levels with the different effect of consumer network acceptance.FindingsThe level of compensation incentive provided by the manufacturer is influenced by consumer network acceptance and product cost. The lower the consumer network acceptance, the better the compensation incentive coordination effect of manufacturers. Manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and consumers are all important players in real supply chain relationships. When a manufacturer exists as a dominant role, it should pay full attention to the impact of consumer behavior on supply chain decisions.Practical implicationsThe research can clarify the influence and mechanism of consumer behavior on supply chain channel conflict coordination, and deal with channel conflicts.Originality/valueThe proposed incentive coordination can effectively realize supply chain channel conflict resolution, and provide decision-making ideas and methods for manufacturers to develop the supply chain management of online direct sales channels.

Can corporate social responsibility enhance corporate competitiveness? An empirical analysis based on listed companies in China's pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
In: Corporate social responsibility and environmental management, Band 30, Heft 5, S. 2639-2650
ISSN: 1535-3966
AbstractThe current study explores the influence mechanism of corporate social responsibility on corporate competitiveness. From 2011 to 2020, a research sample was collected from 108 A‐share pharmaceutical manufacturing companies listed on Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges. Findings depict that the pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises significantly improved competitiveness by fulfilling social responsibility. Good internal control showed a mediating effect on the influence of corporate social responsibility. Moreover, a perfect equity incentive reflects the moderating effect in the relationship between corporate social responsibility and enterprise competitiveness. The study not only provides an empirical test for the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate competitiveness but also analyzes the transmission mechanism between internal control and executive equity incentive variables. The study findings stress monitoring stakeholders and improving the enterprise's internal control system. Moreover, it is necessary to establish a reasonable and effective executive equity incentive mechanism.
