The end of the years of the 20th century saw collapse all the structures of the people's democracies of the Eastern Europe. In this context agitated, the people's China provided the image of the unsinkable ship apparently, little affected through the people's agitation – particularly the student's – of 1989 in Peking. Shall we therefore conclude that the Chinese communist apparatus will be the only one to escape to the failure? In order to improve the integration of higher education resources, local governments should strengthen the administrative management of higher education and propose measures to promote social governance. Therefore, from the perspective of local autonomy, this paper puts forward the following hypotheses about local government behavior and public policy adjustment: whether local autonomy affects the adjustment of higher education policy, whether the role of local intervention policy and legal improvement overlaps, whether the impact on resource integration is perfect, whether the public supervision mechanism is perfect, whether the public plays a role in promoting the integration of educational resources, and whether local laws and regulations have an impact on the integration of educational resources, the educational environment, and the level of local governance. The results show that the policy intervention of local governments and the improvement of laws and regulations have a great impact on the integration of educational resources, which can optimize the educational structure and form a good educational environment, which is the direct factor of the integration of educational resources. Therefore, local governments should strengthen the introduction of intervention policies, improve laws and regulations, and guide the public to participate in the integration of education.

The word "party" in "Stereotyped Party Writing" originally referred to Kuomintang. "Stereotyped Party Writing" was a proper noun used by the intellectual and cultural circles in resisting against the the bureaucratic writing style and criticizing the ossified Three People's Principles in the 1920's. The emergence and popularity of "Stereotyped Party Writing" also indirectly reflected the difficulty and challenge of unifying the ideology in the beginning era of the Nanjing National Government. The formation of Mao Zedong's thought of critizing "Stereotyped Party Writing" appeared as a progressive course. His thought was initially presented in "On Contradiction" published in August 1937, but not until August 1941, then stood as the most remarkable achievement. This speech has been widely spread and extended a far-reaching influence, and possibly because of so, researchers have failed to explore the emerging background and meaning source of this phrase before the speech.

Going beyond previous research suggesting that the search for meaning in life (hereafter "search for meaning") is associated with civic engagement, this study investigated the moderating effects of personal and cultural values on the associations between the search for meaning and two kinds of civic engagement (i.e., pro-environmental engagement and political engagement). Based on the dataset of the sixth wave of the World Values Survey (WVS), multi-level analyses showed that the association between the search for meaning (in terms of thinking about meaning and purpose of life) and pro-environmental engagement was stronger when people held stronger values of openness to change (vs. conservation) and prioritized environmental wellness. The association between the search for meaning and political engagement was stronger when people endorsed stronger values of openness to change, showed a greater interest in politics and attributed greater importance to politics. At the society level, the association between the search for meaning and civic engagement was stronger in societies with a lower power distance. Implications for individual differences of the meaning search are discussed.

Since reform and opening up, China economy grows rapidly and industrialization process boosts gradually. The fluctuation of China economic growth and high consumption of resources aggravate the contradiction between resource demand and supply, and make environmental pollution more seriously. Therefore, how to improve the protection ability of resource and coordinate resource consumption and economic growth has become a hot issue and catches the attention of government and academia. Considering the resource constraints faced by economic growth, this essay studies the dependence of China economic growth on resource consumption, examines the relationship between economic growth and resource consumption empirically. And this essay suggests the government alleviates the contradiction of China economic development by improving resource support capabilities, economic growth transformation and other measures, and makes China economy into a virtuous cycle and sustainable development way. ; Desde o início da reforma económica e da abertura ao mundo, a República Popular da China tem crescido rapidamente bem como os processos de industrialização têm avançado gradualmente. A flutuação do crescimento económico da China e o elevado consumo de recursos minerais têm agravado os efeitos da procura e oferta destes recursos e fez com que a poluição ambiental se transformasse numa questão séria. Deste modo, como melhorar a capacidade de protecção dos recursos naturais em coordenação com o consumo destes e promover o crescimento económico tornou-se uma questão importante e está na agenda tanto do governo como da academia. Tendo em conta os constrangimentos existentes nos recursos minerais em face às necessidades geradas pelo desenvolvimento económico, este projecto investiga a dependência do crescimento económico da China em face ao consumo de recursos minerais, examinando empiricamente a relação entre crescimento económico e o consumo de minérios. Este estudo sugere ainda que o governo deva reduzir a pressão sentida no binómio de procura de recursos minerais e crescimento económico através de melhoria de capacidade de apoio à extracção ou, mudança de modelo de crescimento da indústria transformadora ou, adopção de outras medidas adequadas e tornar a economia da China um circulo virtuoso e sustentável.
