The interaction of cultures has been developingfor many years, and the outstanding sinologist Leonid Evseevich Cherkassky made his contribution to the familiarization and acceptance of Chinese culture by Russians. He presented to the Russian reader the works of a wide range of Chinese writers, from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. Many pages of his scientific and literary work are unknown, and new information should be open to the public. The author of the article, from the standpoint of historical objectivity, turns to the study of the translation of the last book of L. Cherkassky published in China, which in itself is a confirmation of his merits. The author reaffirms the conclusion about the indisputable significance of Cherkassky's work for strengthening Russian-Chinese literary ties and his notable contribution to the rethinking of Chinese culture by Russians.

This article is devoted to the problems addressed in the book of the famous writer, essayist, literary critic, cultural critic and literary critic A.A. Genis "Ticket to China" (2001). Analyzing the distinctive features of the essay, the uniqueness of the themes and the individual characteristics of the narrator, the authors conclude that Genis does not follow the widespread idea of confrontation between the West and the East. Genis presents to the reader the idea of the East as a kind of mystery of the special proximity of Eastern culture to the natural origins of life and shows the West as the center of thought, ready to solve this mystery.

The present study investigates the follower's voice behavior (FVB) as a mediator and follower power distance orientation (FPDO) as a moderator in relationship with Benevolent Paternalistic Leadership Behavior (BPLB) and followers' radical creativity (FRC) with an Asian context based on the social exchange and social learning theory. The study is quantitative and deductive, which surveyed 272 manufacturing industry leaders-followers used to collect the data. Findings show that BPLB with higher follower's voice behavior directly or indirectly enhances the FRC. When the leader-follower collaborative exchange or interactions are high/low, followers' responsibility and accountability are also high/low, which determines follower's radical creativity. In contrast, the leader-follower relationship is obfuscated and blinded when the leader's subordinates' cooperative voice engagement or involvement is low congruously. Manufacturing industries should engage in leadership training that can promote creativity and innovation. Although considering the limitation and the study provides the theoretical, managerial, and practical implication for the managers, policymakers, governmental authority, and society
