; The aim of this study is to think about the political dimensions of cinema and its technical functioning through a cross-reading of Benjamin and Derrida. Firstly, the paper will analyze several critical readings of The Work of Art in the Age of Its Technological Reproducibility, with emphasis on concepts such as aura and phantasmagoria. Secondly, it will tackle the ways in which cinema becomes a machine with emancipatory possibilities. This evaluation will question the metaphysical assumptions inherent to cinema's political conception, such as its ideological ability to veil or unveil reality and the fetishism of filmic images. Finally, the study will invoke the Derridian concepts of specter, trace, and graft, in order to find a political dimension of cinema consisting in the production of an alteration of sensibility and of new conditions of experience.

Against the accusation of depoliticization that the thought of the last Derrida has received, the aim of this article is to show how the criticism of the idea of community articulates in Derrida the heterological politics that blurs the boundaries between the ethical and the political. To this end, firstly, I will analyse the idea of the community as it is criticized by Derrida in Politics of Friendship; secondly, I will analyse Derrida's criticism to the idea of common world material and/or objective; and finally, I will expose the characteristics of the heterological politics in its relationship with the death of the other and the figure of the son.

; The aim of this article is to demonstrate that the link between deconstruction and politics lies in the concept of event (événement), or the faith in the event. In fact, messianism -as it is conceived by Derrida- is this «faith in the event». To this end, I will distinguish derridian messianicity from Kant's «regulative idea»; secondly, I will analyze derridian concept of believing which must characterize democracy; and finally, I will show the religious engagement in Derrida's conception of the politics.
