SUSTAINABLE PUBLIC BIDDINGS: THE CASE OF UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DA FRONTEIRA SUL'S UNIVERSITY RESTAURANT

This study attempted to verify how the Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul (UFFS) contemplated the three pillars of sustainability on the bidding processes to the implantation of its university restaurants. A qualitative research through a case study was performed. The methods of data collection were literature, documentary research to analyze 11 cases occurred between 2010 and 2014, and interviews, in order to identify the responsible for the area's perception concerning the sustainable procurements. Data analysis revealed that, in general, the involved people have a wide perception on the subject, covering the three pillars of sustainability. The Institution seeks to include sustainability criteria in their bidding processes, however, it is observed noticeable emphasis on economic and environmental criteria, confirming what has been shown in theory and studies related. Considering these aspects, it is concluded that, in order to meet the three pillars of sustainability, the institution must also pay attention to the social issues, even though to do so it needs to include additional criteria to the ones proposed by legislation. Among the proposals of improvements, two of them stand out: investing in academic community's awareness and creating a Sustainability Center of institutional nature to reflect and plan the advances, in particular, in Social Pillar.Keywords: Sustainability. This article is part of a research in progress which aims at defining a set of sustainability indicators that meets the specificities of a Higher Education Institution (HEI). The objective was to identify what is the responsibility of the HEIs before sustainability and the sustainable development from the managers' insights. This is a qualitative research with case study design. The collection techniques used were bibliographical and documentary research and semi-structured interviews with ten managers of the institution. It was determined that managers understand sustainability broadly. The managers mention the importance of applying the concepts to management practices in order to be an example to other institutions and to contribute to the sustainable development of the region where it operates. The respondents cited several actions developed in the HEIs. These results provide subsidies for the construction of a sustainability indicator system for monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of the actions developed.

Objetivo: Identificar e compreender como os termos ousadia e audácia têm sido discutidos em pesquisas em empreendedorismo.
Método / Abordagem: Para identificar os artigos, utilizou-se o método bibliométrico ProKnow-C. A busca ocorreu nas bases Scopus e Web of Science. Na bibliometria, utilizou-se os recursos do pacote Bibliometrix. Para compreender como os temas são abordados em empreendedorismo, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da literatura.
Originalidade / Relevância: Essa pesquisa avança na discussão e compreensão do tema ousadia/audácia no campo do Empreendedorismo.
Resultados: Na bibliometria, realizou-se análise quantitativa com 109 artigos, nos quais foram encontrados como indicadores: três periódicos, oito autores, três países, oito palavras-chave e evolução no período de 2013-2021. A revisão sistemática da literatura foi realizada com base em 21 artigos, e os resultados apresentam quatro categorias: ousadia e minorias, risco e investimentos, características de personalidade e variações culturais.
Contribuições teóricas: A pesquisa apresenta contribuição teórica para o campo de estudos, ao evidenciar aspectos associados a ousadia/audácia em estudos em empreendedorismo, propiciando ampliar a compreensão do comportamento de empreendedores e de organizações. Além disso, para pesquisadores do Empreendedorismo o estudo elucida os contextos nos quais esses temas são discutidos, além de apontar lacunas teóricas no campo.
