This study aims to comprehensively synthesize existing literature on AI in tourism, highlighting key themes, strengths, and limitations, and illuminating pathways for future research, including the identification of emerging areas within this context. AI technology is rapidly transforming various sectors, including tourism, by augmenting customer service, improving operational efficiency, personalizing travel experiences, and supporting sustainability initiatives. Despite the growing body of research on this topic, there is a need for a comprehensive and systematic summary of the existing literature to illuminate the most effective uses of AI in this context and to identify gaps for future research. We employed the 'overview of reviews' methodology, which involved systematically locating, appraising, and synthesizing the results of previous review articles. Using Web of Science, we identified and analyzed 31 previous review articles on the application of AI in tourism. Their synthesis presents a comprehensive perspective on the present status of AI technology in the tourism sector. It provides valuable insights, not only for practitioners contemplating the implementation of AI solutions but also for academics aspiring to advance this study area. Moreover, the academic implications of this study reaffirm its objective to shape future inquiries into AI applications within tourism, advocate for the efficacious and sustainable employment of AI, and provoke scholarly exploration at the nexus of technology and sustainability in this sector.

Se identifican y analizan la percepción y las expectativas de los directivos en compañías industriales y de servicios empresariales sin una práctica sistematizada de inteligencia sobre el proceso de Inteligencia Competitiva, con el fin de contribuir al diseño de sistemas de gestión de inteligencia acordes con las necesidades, los procedimientos y la cultura de las empresas. Ante la escasez de estudios sobre la materia, se ha realizado un estudio exploratorio entre directivos y mandos intermedios de compañías sitas en Aragón (España) mediante entrevistas en profundidad semiestructuradas y grupos de discusión. Se concluye que la implantación de la Inteligencia Competitiva debería atender a estas propuestas: promover cambios en la cultura corporativa en favor de una mayor valoración de la información; establecer un sistema de gestión de alto nivel acorde con la normativa sobre sistemas de gestión integrados; vincularla con el ejercicio de las funciones directivas y las áreas funcionales; organizar su producción con un enfoque orientado a la gestión de proyectos; dotar de competencias en inteligencia a los mandos intermedios para que participen en su creación; y fijar códigos éticos adaptados a las particularidades de cada sector.

The proliferation of fact-checking services is a fast-growing global phenomenon, especially in Western countries. These services are the response of journalism to disinformation, that has transformed a common internal procedure of journalistic work in the core of a business directed to the general public, also offered to the companies of mass media and social media. Literature review shows that the research on fact-checking has focused on the origin, funding, relationship with the media, procedures, and experiences related to politics and COVID-19. However, the ownership structure of the fact-checking services has been superficially analysed and the business model of these platforms has not yet been studied in detail and depth. The objective of this article is to identify and analyse the business model of the nine Spanish active fact-checking services through a documentary research of public information sources and the information that these services give about themselves. This paper explains their ownership structure and income provenance, from open information sources. The findings are that the fact-checking services that depend on media groups are no strangers to the trend of opacity usual in these groups, but in the case of fact-checking services that are born as initiatives of journalists, the trend towards transparency is, in the majority of cases, clear. However, the information provided by the Spanish fact-checking services is deficient and does not allow us to discover their business models, except in the case of Newtral and, to a certain extent, Maldita.

We report on the observation of α decay from a state in 10B at 11.48 MeV. The only observed decay branch is to the first T=1 state in 6Li at 3.56 MeV. The apparent absence of an α-decay branch to the (T=0) ground state in 6Li suggests that the 11.48-MeV state should be assigned isospin T=1. The spin and parity of the 11.48-MeV state could not be directly determined from the present study apart from J=0 being ruled out by the observed angular correlation. This process is relevant as it has been proposed recently that this level plays a role in the α(αn,γ) 9Be reaction. This state breaks-up in 2α+n, and sequential as well as direct ("democratic") decay have previously been considered. In our work energy and direction of the two emitted α particles has been measured, while those of the neutron have been reconstructed. The sequential decay is considered using the R-matrix formalism. For the democratic decay the hyper-spherical harmonics functions are used. The different decay processes are compared with the data using the Monte-Carlo method. The reaction channels corresponding to (d,p), (d,d), and (d,t) reactions populating ground states and low-lying excited states in 7 -9Li have been identified and the related angular distributions extracted and compared with coupled-channels, distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA), and coupled-reaction-channels calculations. The β decays of N12 and B12 have been studied at KVI and JYFL to resolve the composition of the broad and interfering 0+ and 2 + strengths in the triple-α continuum. For the first time a complete treatment of 3α decay is presented including all major breakup channels. A multilevel, many-channel R-matrix formalism has been developed for the complete description of the breakup in combination with the recently published separate analysis of angular correlations. We find that, in addition to the Hoyle state at 7.65 MeV, more than one 0+ and 2+ state is needed to reproduce the spectra. Broad 03+ and 22+ states are found between 10.5 and 12 MeV in this work. The presence of β strength up to the N12 Q-value window suggests the presence of additional 0+ and 2 + components in the C12 structure at energies above 12.7 MeV. © 2010 The American Physical Society. ; Supported by the Academy of Finland (Project No. 44875), by the Spanish Agency CICYT (Nos. The reaction 3He+11B→d+12C* has been used to populate resonances in C12 up to an excitation energy of 15 MeV. The subsequent breakup to three α particles has been measured in complete kinematics. Dalitz plots are used to visualize and analyze the data. The Dalitz plot intensity distribution exhibits zero points characteristic of the total spin and parity of the 3α system allowing us to determine the spin and parity of a state in C12 at 13.35 MeV whose quantum numbers were hitherto not well established. The Dalitz plot intensity distributions of the 2- state at 11.83 MeV and the 1 + state at 12.71 MeV are compared with the predictions of a recent three-body calculation as well as with simpler models. In our data we have identified states in 12C from the ground state up to about 18 MeV, with spins ranging from 0 to 4. Due to the very good resolution, we are able to determine properties of these 12C resonances, such as their energy, width, and spin. The current evaluation of the triple-α reaction rate assumes that the α decay of the 7.65 MeV, 0 + state in C12, commonly known as the Hoyle state, proceeds sequentially via the ground state of Be8. This assumption is challenged by the recent identification of two direct α-decay branches with a combined branching ratio of 17(5)%. If correct, this would imply a corresponding reduction in the triple-α reaction rate with important astrophysical consequences. We have used the B11(He3,d) reaction to populate the Hoyle state and measured the decay to three α particles in complete kinematics. We find no evidence for direct α-decay branches, and hence our data do not support a revision of the triple-α reaction rate. The breakup channels involving three particles were studied in full kinematics allowing for the reconstruction of the excitation energy of the 11Be states participating in the decay. In particular, the contribution of a previously unobserved state at 16.3 MeV in 11Be has been identified selecting the α + 7He → α + 6He + n channel. We have used the 10B(3He,p¿¿¿) reaction at 4.9 MeV and the 11B(3He,d¿¿¿) reaction at 8.5 MeV to determine the energy, width, and decay mechanism of resonances in 12C above the triple-¿ threshold up to 21 MeV in excitation energy. By measuring the four-body final state in complete kinematics we are able to detect γ transitions indirectly. We find γ transitions from the 15.11 MeV state in 12C to the 12.71, 11.83, 10.3 and 7.65 MeV states followed by their breakup into three α particles. The relative γ-ray branching ratios obtained are (1.2 ± 0.3), (0.32 ± 0.12), (1.4 ± 0.2) and (4.4 ± 0.8) %, respectively, with the remaining (92.7 ± 1.0) % of the γ decays going to the bound states. We obtain Γα / Γ = (2.8 ± 1.2) % for the isospin-forbidden α decay of the 15.11 MeV state. From the 12.71 MeV state we find γ transitions to the 10.3 and 7.65 MeV states. The relative γ-ray branching ratios are (0.9- 0.5 + 0.6) and (2.6- 1.2 + 1.6) %, respectively, with the remaining (96.6- 1.3 + 1.7) % of the γ decays going to the bound states. The results exclude an earlier assumption of a phase-space description of the break-up process of the 18.15 MeV state. Different configurations in Si34 were populated independently from the two recently identified β-decaying states in Al34 having spin-parity assignments Jπ=4- dominated by the normal configuration π(d5/2)-1 - ν(f7/2) and Jπ=1+ by the intruder configuration π(d5/2)-1 - ν(d3/2)-1(f7/2)2. The paper reports on spectroscopic properties of Si34 such as an extended level scheme, spin and parity assignments based on log(ft) values and γ-ray branching ratios, absolute β feeding intensities, and neutron emission probabilities. A total of 11 newly identified levels and 26 transitions were added to the previously known level scheme of Si34.
