Konventionelle Blechumformtechnologien sind bei geringen Stückzahlen häufig unwirtschaftlich. Roboterbasiertes Rollformen ist ein inkrementelles Verfahren zur flexiblen Fertigung von Profilbauteilen ab Losgröße 1. Die Umformung erfolgt mit einem Rollenkopf, der durch einen Roboterarm zugestellt und über das Werkstück bewegt wird. Durch die kinematische Gestalterzeugung können Werkzeugkosten gesenkt und kleine bis mittlere Stückzahlen wirtschaftlich gefertigt werden.
Conventional sheet metal forming technologies are often uneconomical for low production volumes. Robotic roll forming is an incremental process for the flexible production of profile components. The forming is performed with a roller head, which is actuated by a robot arm. Due to the kinematic process characteristics, tooling costs can be reduced and small-to-medium quantities can be produced economically.

Im Lichte aktueller Erfahrungen aus der Corona-Pandemie, aber auch der Hochwasserkatastrophe greift das Innovationsprogramm die Anforderungen des Wirtschaftsstandorts Deutschland an resiliente und dynamische Wertschöpfungssysteme bei gleichbleibend hoher Produktivität und Individualisierung auf. Resilienz gegenüber Krisen und Störfällen aller Art entwickelt sich somit zum entscheidenden Wettbewerbsfaktor.

The innovative software system "myEcoCost" enables to gather and communicate resource and environmental data for products and services in global value chains. The system has been developed in the consortium of the European research project myEcoCost and forms a basis of a new, highly automated environmental accounting system für companies and consumers. The prototype of the system, linked to financial accounting of companies, was developed and tested in close collaboration with large and small companies. This brochure gives a brief introduction to the vision linked to myEcoCost: a network formed by collaborative environmental accounting nodes collecting environmental data at each step in a product's value chains. It shows why better life cycle data are needed and how myEcoCost addresses and solves this problem. Furthermore, it presents options for a future upscaling of highly automated environmenal accounting for prodcuts and services.
