En los últimos años el trabajo cooperativo viene cobrando fuerza, imponiéndose sobre la competitividad. Hoy son muchas las instituciones que desarrollan actividades cooperativas obteniendo grandes beneficios no sólo académico, también en la convivencia escolar y emocional; de allí la importancia de desarrollar la investigación denominada "El trabajo cooperativo como una estrategia lúdica para mejorar la convivencia escolar". Investigación de corte cualitativo, se realizó en la Institución Educativa Distrital (IED) Jacqueline Kennedy de la ciudad de Santa Marta y contó con la participación de 35 estudiantes de grado 5, padres de familia, docentes y directivos de la misma institución. Para ello, se utilizó la investigación - acción participativa a través de cuatro fases (fase de sensibilización, fase diagnostica, fases de intervención y fase de cierre) donde se aplicaron una serie de instrumentos y talleres lúdicos cuyos resultados ayudarían a identificar la eficacia o beneficios del trabajo cooperativo en la convivencia escolar, se concluyó que los estudiantes al trabajar cooperativamente y de forma lúdica se divierten, se sienten valorados, se apoyan unos con otros, fortalecen sus habilidades y logran mejores resultados educativos

The low quality and relevance at all educational levels remain a problem present in education in Colombia, limiting the training and development of skills for work and for life. In 2006, PISA tests were applied to young Colombians. While it is true that the test results show the motivation of young Colombians to project in the scientific field (those evaluated had high scores in the subcompetence of identification of scientific phenomena), the country lags in other competences that are more related Direct with innovation processes, such as explaining scientific events and using scientific evidence.
