Abstract: The interest for the main issues dealing with the dual career of student-athletes is growing in importance within the policies of the European Union. The objective of this study is to reflect, through the results of several international investigations, on the impact that counselling as a tool to implement individual skills and competencies can have on student-athletes' guidance in the school and University. This study will focus on the advantages which can arise from helping student-athletes through guidance experts and professional counsellors. Moreover, it will explore the advantages from the use of a holistic paradigm centred on a psycho-pedagogical approach for enhancing, in student-athletes, life-skills and capability of adaptation through sport skills. Actually, the application of this paradigm allows to couple sport skills and life skills, encouraging the student-athlete to develop as a whole in her/his multiple dimensions, avoiding the risk of a unilateral development of identity. Abstract: Il tema della conciliazione nella dual career dello studente-atleta e le inevitabili, e a volte imprevedibili, fasi di transizione che lo studente-atleta di trova ad affrontare rappresentano uno dei temi centrali delle attuali politiche europee. The purpose of our study is to investigate the way educational practitioners perceive critical issues and barriers related to the teaching of physical and sports education in primary and secondary school. To carry out this study, we have used a qualitative research methodology based on the content analysis of documents obtained from a focus group conducted with educational practitioners, people, and institutions dealing with primaryand secondary education. In particular, the practitioners and representatives were teachers, principals, volunteers from sports associations, municipal government and from the Territorial School Office of the City of Cremona, Italy, who have been involved in the project "Mi gioco la possibilità - ExSportAbile - Lo sport inclusivo a Cremona". The results from the study show that there exist critical issues relating to the perception of physical activity and sports education by the participants in the focus group. Moreover, at the same time,the results highlight the possibility of using new means and strategies for the enhancement of educational potentials of physical and sport education in school. ; Il presente studio ha la finalità di indagare la percezione di coloro che operano nell'ambito dello sport scolastico rispetto all'insegnamento dell'educazione fisica, motoria e sportiva nella scuola primaria e secondaria. Per tale indagine è stata impiegata una metodologia qualitativa, basata sull'analisi del contenuto di un focus group realizzato con insegnanti, dirigenti scolastici, operatori di associazioni e società sportive, rappresentanti dell'amministrazione comunale e dell'Ufficio Scolastico Territoriale di Cremona, nell'ambito del progetto "Mi gioco la possibilità - ExSportAbile - Lo sport inclusivo a Cremona". I risultati rilevano, nella percezione dei partecipanti, elementi di criticità ed evidenziano, al contempo, possibili strumenti e prospettive per la valorizzazione delle potenzialità educativedell'educazione fisica, motoria e sportiva in ambito scolastico.

The European Union has recently established, through the publication of important documents, an educational policy aimed to support and promote so-called dual-career of athletes, stressing how a quality education represents one of their main rights. Within this framework, which willbe briefly sketched, the main aim of this study is to draw, from data and information derived from previous researches, some guidelines for the pedagogical design and implementation of dual-career experiences addressed to student-athletes attending secondary schools in Italy. The purpose of this planning is to promote, within a holistic and systemic paradigm, the development of the young athlete as a human person, helping her/hem achieve a balance between sport training and education.The final goal of the study is to build an educational project scheme that can be structured as a model adaptable to the several and different contexts of Italian secondary schools attended by students-athletes, and used as a tool to draw effective dual-career courses for them. ; L'Unione Europea ha recentemente sancito, attraverso la pubblicazione di specifici documenti, una politica educativa in favore del sostegno e della promozione della cosiddetta dual-career degli atleti, evidenziando come una formazione di qualità sia un loro diritto. This study aims to know and understand the perception of primary school teachers with regard to physical education in Italy, exploring its purposes, content, methodologies, students' evaluation system, and human, economic and sports infrastructural resources.To achieve these aims, we have utilized a qualitative methodology based on the analysis of content emerging from a focus group made up of teachers from the province of Venice. The data has shown that the teachers who have taken part in the research tend to consider physical education as an indispensabletool for the development of the whole person, and as a means capable to facilitate and foster the acquisition of motor and socio-relational skills. Moreover, the data has stressed several problems concerning the very few number of hours assigned to the discipline in the official ministry curriculum, and the absence of adequate sports facilities and equipment, along with a lack both of economic resources and teachers specifically trained for teaching PE in the primary school.We are convinced that the results of this research can contribute to give a further boost to the actions provided in the 107/2015 school reform law whose aim is to undertake a concrete and long-lasting political action for the real enhancement and implementation of PE. ; Il presente studio ha l'obiettivo di conoscere la percezione degli insegnanti della scuola primaria rispetto all'Educazione Motoria in Italia, alle sue finalità, contenuti, metodologie, sistemi di valutazione degli alunni e risorse umane, economiche ed infrastrutturali.Per il raggiungimento di questi obiettivi è stata impiegata una metodologia qualitativa, basata sull'analisi del contenuto di un focus group realizzato con un gruppo di insegnanti della provincia di Venezia.I dati mostrano che i maestri partecipanti alla ricerca considerano l'Educazione Motoria uno strumento indispensabile per lo sviluppo globale della persona, capace di favorire l'acquisizione di abilità motorie e socio-relazionali.
