We present the uncertain probabilistic ordered weighted averaging (UPOWA) operator. It is an aggregation operator that uses probabilities and OWA operators in the same formulation considering the degree of importance of each concept in the analysis. Moreover, it also uses uncertain information assessed with interval numbers in the aggregation process. The main advantage of this aggregation operator is that it is able to use the attitudinal character of the decision maker and the available probabilistic information in an environment where the information is very imprecise and can be assessed with interval numbers. We study some of its main properties and particular cases such as the uncertain probabilistic aggregation (UPA) and the uncertain OWA (UOWA) operator. We also develop an application of the new approach in a multi-person decision-making problem in political management regarding the selection of monetary policies. Thus, we obtain the multiperson UPOWA (MP-UPOWA) operator. We see that this model gives more complete information of the decision problem because it is able to deal with decision making problems under uncertainty and under risk in the same formulation. The principal purpose of this paper is to analyze different methods for decision making, with a focus on entrepreneurship in Latin America. Decision-making methods may be informed by aggregation operators that are based on the use of probabilities, weighted averages (WAs) and generalized aggregation operators. The paper presents a new generalized probabilistic weighted averaging (GPWA) operator that unifies WAs and probability in the same formulation, considering the degree of importance of each concept used in the analysis. The fundamental advantage of this approach is that it includes a wide range of particular cases including the probabilistic weighted averaging (PWA) operator, the probabilistic weighted geometric averaging (PWGA) operator and the probabilistic weighted quadratic averaging (PWQA) operator. Quasi-arithmetic means are used to obtain the Quasi-PWA operator and to generalize the approach, which is then applied to a set of hypothetical entrepreneurial investment decisions in a politically unified Latin American region. ; El objetivo principal de este artículo es analizar diferentes métodos de toma de decisiones, con enfoque en el emprendimiento en Latinoamérica. Los métodos de toma de decisiones pueden recibir información por parte de operadores de agregación basados en el uso de probabilidades, promedios ponderados (PP) y operadores de agregación generalizados. El artículo presenta un nuevo operador probabilístico generalizado de promedios ponderados (GPWA) que unifica los promedios ponderados y la probabilidad en la misma formulación, considerando el grado de importancia de cada concepto usado en el análisis. La ventaja fundamental de este enfoque es que incluye un amplio rango de casos particulares, incluyendo el operador probabilístico de promedios ponderados, el operador probabilístico de promedios geométricos ponderados y el operador probabilístico de promedios cuadráticos ponderados. Se emplean medios cuasiaritméticos para obtener el operador cuasiprobabilístico de promedios ponderados y para generalizar el enfoque, que luego es aplicado a un conjunto de decisiones empresariales hipotéticas en cuanto a inversión en una región latinoamericana unificada políticamente. ; O objetivo principal deste artigo é o de analisar diferentes métodos para tomar decisões, com enfoque no empreendedorismo na América Latina. Esses métodos podem receber informação de operadores de agregação apoiados no uso de probabilidades, médias ponderadas (MP) e operadores de agregação generalizados. O artigo apresenta um novo operador probabilístico generalizado de médias ponderadas (GMWA) que unifica as médias ponderadas e a probabilidade na mesma formulação, considerando o grau de importância de cada conceito utilizado na análise. A vantagem fundamental desta visão é que inclui uma ampla faixa de casos particulares: O operador probabilístico de médias ponderadas, o probabilístico de médias geométricas ponderadas e o probabilístico de médias quadráticas ponderadas. São utilizadas médias quasearitméticas para obter o operador quaseprobabilístico de médias ponderadas e para generalizar a visão e, depois é aplicado a um conjunto de decisões empresariais hipotéticas quanto a investimento em uma região latino-americana unificada politicamente.

In this paper a methodology for the stochastic management of groundwater quality problems is presented, which can be used to provide agricultural advisory services. A stochastic algorithm to solve the coupled flow and mass transport inverse problem is combined with a stochastic management approach to develop methods for integrating uncertainty; thus obtaining more reliable policies on groundwater nitrate pollution control from agriculture. The stochastic inverse model allows identifying non-Gaussian parameters and reducing uncertainty in heterogeneous aquifers by constraining stochastic simulations to data. The management model determines the spatial and temporal distribution of fertilizer application rates that maximizes net benefits in agriculture constrained by quality requirements in groundwater at various control sites. The quality constraints can be taken, for instance, by those given by water laws such as the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD). Furthermore, the methodology allows providing the trade-off between higher economic returns and reliability in meeting the environmental standards. Therefore, this new technology can help stakeholders in the decision-making process under an uncertainty environment. [EN] A new decision making model that uses the weighted average and the ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator in the Dempster-Shafer belief structure is presented. Thus, we are able to represent the decision making problem considering objective and subjective information and the attitudinal character of the decision maker. For doing so, we use the ordered weighted averaging ¿ weighted average (OWAWA) operator. It is an aggregation operator that unifies the weighted average and the OWA in the same formulation. This approach is generalized by using quasi-arithmetic means and group decision making techniques. Environment and Behavior is a leading international journal that publishes research examining the relationships between human behavior and the built and natural environments since 1969. Motivated by its half-century anniversary, the present article uses the Web of Science Core Collection database to provide a bibliometric overview of the leading trends that have occurred in the journal during the 1969-2018 period. The impact of the journal has increased over the years, Gary W. Evans is the author with most published papers, articles by Paul C. Stern and Thomas Dietz have made a notable scientific impact, the University of Michigan is the institution with the highest number of publications, and there is a growing trend in the number of women and international contributors to the journal. This bibliographic review provides strong evidence of the scientific impact of the journal, and the wider Environment-and-Behavior community should be proud of its story of success.

Purpose
This special issue of the Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, entitled "Business, Industrial Marketing and Uncertainty", presents selected extended studies that were presented at the European Academy of Management and Business Economics Conference (AEDEM 2012).


Design/methodology/approach
The main focus of this year was reflected in the slogan: "Creating new opportunities in an uncertain environment". The objective was to show the importance that uncertainty has in our current world, strongly affected by many complexities and modern developments, especially through the new technological advances.


Findings
One fundamental reason that explains the economic crisis is that the government and companies were not well prepared for these critical situations. And the main justification for this is that they did not have enough information. Otherwise, they would have tried any possible strategy to avoid the crisis. Usually, uncertainty is defined as the situation with unknown information in the environment.


Originality/value
From a theoretical perspective, the problem here is that enterprises and governments should assess the information and the uncertainty in a more appropriate way. Usually, they have some studies in this direction, but many times, it is not enough, as it was proved in the last economic crisis.

Purpose
This paper aims to present a bibliometric overview of the leading trends of the journals in industrial marketing during for 25 years. Thus, the purpose is to carry out an analysis about contributions that industrial marketing or business to business (B2B) marketing discipline has done for scientific investigation, presenting a ranking of the 30 most influential journals and their global evolution by five-year periods from 1992 to 2016. Moreover, this study presents the amount of citations, who quotes who from the top 15 ranking and self-citations.


Design/methodology/approach
This study analyzes 3,587 documents classified as articles, letters, notes and reviews from Clarivate Analytics' Web of Science for the period 1992- 2016, by bibliometric indicators such as H-index, total citations (TC), total papers (TP), TC/TP. Furthermore, this paper develops a graphical visualization of the bibliographic material by using the visualization of similarities viewer software for constructing and visualizing bibliometric networks in leading journals, publications and keywords with bibliographic coupling and co-citation analysis.


Findings
Industrial Marketing Management is the leader of the ranking, representing 34 per cent of the total manuscripts considered in this study. The most influential journals were classified by periods of five years and the top five for the period 2012-2016 were in ascending order: Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing, Journal of Business Research and Journal of Marketing. Therefore, in this last period, the considered specialized journals of industrial marketing have increased the quantity (TP) and quality (better H-index) of marketing contributions. The main node on the keywords was of "business-to-business marketing." The most frequent keywords were "industrial marketing," "trust," "business-to-business," "B2B," "relationship marketing" and finally "electronic commerce".


Practical implications
The information presented in this paper is useful to academics, publishers, academic institutions and other interested groups in industrial marketing because it makes available a global and current picture of this discipline that could be used to make decisions about publishing strategies and journal position.


Originality/value
This study aims to analyze the progress of industrial marketing discipline, reviewing the contribution of several scientific journals for 25 years. In fact, to the authors' knowledge, this is the first quantitative study focused on the only purpose of ranking the most influential journals and keywords analysis using bibliometric techniques and networks theories.

The OWA operator is an aggregation operator developed by Yager (1988) that provides the ability to aggregate different types of information, such as the attitude and expectation of the decision maker. Among the extensions that have been developed and that will be discussed in this paper are the prioritized OWA (POWA) operator (Yager, 2004), which is used in a group decision- making process when not all the decision makers have the same importance in the final results, so to unify the criteria, a prioritized vector is applied. Additionally, the heavy OWA (HOWA) operator (Yager, 2002) is considered; this operator has characteristics that are not bounded to one such as those of the OWA operator; thus, it is possible to under or overestimate the results according to the expectations. Finally, the induced OWA (IOWA) operator (Yager & Filev, 1999) is applied.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to determine the most influential countries and universities that have contributed to science in the field of industrial marketing research during the period from 1990 to 2015.Design/methodology/approachBibliometric methodology is adopted, focusing on the most productive and influential countries and universities within this discipline, for the scientific community analyzing journals listed in the Web of Science (WoS) database from 1990 to 2015 and is supplemented by using VOS viewer to graph the existing bibliometric networks for each and every variable.FindingsEvidence that the USA and UK remain leaders in the investigation of industrial marketing research. Finland stands at the third place, leaving Australia and Germany behind. In reference to the universities, Michigan State University ranks as the leader.Research limitations/implicationsThe process of data classification originates from WoS. Moreover, to provide a comprehensive analytical scenario, other factors could have potentially been considered such as the editor's commitment to leading journals, to partnerships and conferences, as well as other databases.Originality/valueThis paper takes into account alternative variables that have not been previously considered in previous studies, such as universities and countries in which the transcendental contributions to this field have taken place, providing a closer look, which gives rise to further discussions and studies with more detail to the history of this science in the future.
