Objective: To analyze the implications of professional practice of these nurses graduated from the CEEO EEAN / UFRJ for quality health care for women. Method: This was a qualitative study, where the subjects were twenty (20) obstetrician nurses graduated at CEEO / EEAN who work in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Results: The autonomy and ownership of the practice of midwives are legitimized and enforces the law as a nurse midwife, however, the autonomy of childbirth care is limited by its lack of knowledge about the legal support to serve in this area of care, due to the impediment professional practice and prejudice from health institutions and medical staff through verbal violence and its derivations, generating negative implications for the quality of care and practice. Conclusion: So, professional recognition by the acceptance of nursing practice in its entirety should be legitimized.

Objectives: To analyze the perception of HIV positive women regarding the decision to become
pregnant; investigate women's knowledge about HIV positive health care in the prevention of vertical
transmission. Method: This is a descriptive and exploratory qualitative research. We used a script of questions and the
interviews were taped and later transcribed. Results: The study revealed that positive serology for HIV is not a limiting
factor for the decision to become pregnant. Although the fear of transmitting the virus is present, it is overcomed by
the desire to be a mother and the expectation of having a healthy child. Conclusion: Reproductive decisions of HIV
positive women should be valued during the health care assistance so they can make consciously, democratic and
emancipatory life decisions.

Objective: To analyse the women's perception on the violence experienced. Method: Qualitative study. Data was obtained through a semi-structured interview, and was analysed through the Content Analysis modality. Results: Four thematic categories were identified from the analysis of the accounts of the 14 participating women: 34,8% of the accounts fit in the category Perception and Feelings about violence; 26,1% presented accounts on the category Perception of the Motives for the Experience of Violence; and also in the category Freedom Cessation; and 13,0% in the category Reflex of Violence on Health. Conclusion: There is a need for policies and actions that support and contribute to women's freedom from violence, as well as the strengthening of intersectoral support networks, as violence poses a number of problems not only of socio-economic nature, but also damages the health of their victims.
