Muhammadiyah is known as community organization based on religious principle which act on disseminating Islamic values in order to reform Islamic principle to become purely. In its growth, Muhammadiyah does not far away from political activities that is not really its field. Various roles in political context are played by Muhammadiyah both external an internal space. This study describes the role of the local government in this case the Environmental Service in river water pollution preventing due to factory waste in Pancung Soal District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The Environment Agency carries out control, supervision and restoration to prevent river water pollution due to factory waste with various activities in every aspect. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Informants were selected using a proportional sampling technique. Test the validity of the data using the observation persistence technique. The data was collected by means of interviews, observation and document analysis studies. The data analysis technique is done by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate the role of the Department of the Environment in preventing river water pollution has been carried out well and optimally even though there are many obstacles and problems in the field
This study aims to determine the Renewable Energy Development Implementation in South Solok Regency. New and Renewable Energy is clean energy that is rich in diversity and quantity such as solar energy, wind, natural gas, ocean waves, garbage, wood, biomass, nuclear and water (microhydro). New and Renewable Energy was developed by the West Sumatra Provincial ESDM Office in the South Solok area since 2013, however, in implementing this development there were still some obstacles which was faced by the West Sumatra Provincial ESDM Office as the community which has not felt the impact of developing the benefits of PLTMH. It was because there were some PLTMH which were not functioning or have damaged caused by natural disasters such as floods and landslides, there was still a lack of technicians to repair the damage to the PLTMH, there was still a lack of costs obtained from PLTMH customers who aimed to repair damage to PLTMH generators and turbines. This study was a qualitative research which used descriptive method. The research respondents were selected by using a purposive sampling technique. For the data collection, this study used interview guidelines, observation, and documentation of the research as the instrumentation. The validation technique used the triangulation method. Furthermore, the data analysis technique was reducing data, displaying data, and drawing the conclusions of the study which has been conducted. The findings showed that the Renewable Energy Development implementation for Micro Hydro Power Plants (PLTMH) by the ESDM Office of West Sumatra Province in South Solok was still not running as it should be, because there were still some obstacles which were faced in developing of New Renewable Energy of PLTMH that the results was not being implemented properly. Supporting factors for the implementation of this PLTMH development were the data and information, communication, bureaucratic attitudes, and organizational structure. While communication, organizational characteristics, economic environment and human resources were the inhibiting factors. The Effort to overcome these obstacles was the government has signed several commitments related to the development of Renewable Energy. Beside that, to fill the conditions of the national electricity, the government has also involved the private sector
This articles describes the effectiveness of procedure control of ilegal gold mining activities in Dharmasraya distric. Researcher uses the theory according to Tangkilisan about an indicator of the effectiveness. The research method used qualitative descriptive. Informan in this research using purposive sampling technique. In the data collection uses by interview, observation, and documentation technique. The result research explain that the effectiveness the ilegal gold mining control in the Dharmasraya distric has not been implemented opportune and optimally. It shows there are still many problems. Such as there are not clarity of the purpose and strategy, special program, planning, policy are not written and supervision system has been not optimally. This causes the control does not go as expexcted. The causative factors of ilegal gold mining control can include by internal and external factors. Internal factors are lack of human resources, budget, and facilities. While eksternal factors are low of community participation, location far away, and leakage information. That is the reason why the effectiveness of the ilegal gold mining control in the Dharmasraya distric has not gone well.
This research is motivated by problems regarding the management of cemeteries in ethnic Chinese communities in the city of Padang. The amount of funeral levy fees and cremation problems that are not approved by Minang residents. The research aims to determine: (1) The role of the government in the management of cemeteries in the Chinese community in the city of Padang. (2) Government efforts in overcoming the problems that occur due to the management of Chinese community cemeteries in the city of Padang. (3) Obstacles or obstacles in the management of cemeteries in the Tinghoa community in the city of Padang. This type of qualitative research using descriptive methods ,. The selection of informants is carried out using purposive sampling technique. The type of data is primary data and secondary data obtained from interviews with informants and documents related to research. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and study documentation. The research data were analyzed with source triangulation techniques. The findings in the field show that: (1) The role of the government in funeral management in the Chinese community in the city of Padang, namely as a regulator, is a policy maker in improving or optimizing funeral management. As a dynamicator that is able to get the community to participate in overcoming and efficiency and service improvement. As a facilitator, as a provider of burial grounds and facilitating burial grounds. This study describes theindicate that there are four factors that influence the conversion of productive agricultural land in Nagari Sungai Nanam, namely population factors, economic factors, social factors and weak government policies towards agricultural land conversion. As well as several negative impacts felt by the Nagari Sungai Nanam community, including reduced job opportunities for farmers, reduced food production, reduced farmer income, decreased food availability, and higher food prices. As well as several positive impacts felt by the Sungai Nanam villagers, including an increase in the selling price of land around the area, construction of facilities and infrastructure such as roads and public facilities, and rapid development.
his study aims to describe how the implementation of the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program in Kuranji Sub-District, Padang City. The background of the problem in this study is that based on preliminary observations, BPNT is assistance provided by the government to alleviate poverty and prosper the families of beneficiaries of the assistance. The large number of people who do not understand and appreciate the government's commitment has made this program not running well. The type and data analysis uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources consist of primary data in the form of a direct interview process and secondary data is data collected from the institutional literature related to this research. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using the data source triangulation technique. And data collection techniques with data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the BPN program has not gone well because there are obstacles in the lower level government that have not optimized the BPN implementation smoothly. Many people do not know the process and there are still many underprivileged people who are not registered to receive the assistance.
