Part 1: Environment and Sustainable Development ; International audience ; 195 countries gathered in Paris in 2015 to conclude the legally binding climate agreement to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Continuous environment monitoring is a prerequisite for designing policies which can reduce global climate emissions. Only a handful of countries have the capabilities to carry out advanced climate measurements. Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Technologies can lower the technological and financial barriers for developing countries to monitor climate emissions. The authors made use of environmental COTS technologies along with information and communication technologies (ICT) to assess the impact of pollution control initiatives rolled out by the Delhi government on experimental basis.

Given the popularity and success of the Hindu-Right in India's electoral politics today, how may one study ostensibly 'Western' concepts and ideas, such as the secular and its family of cognates, like secularism, secularisation and secularity in non-Western societies without assuming them simply as derivative, or colonial legacies or contrast cases of Western societies? While recognizing that the dominant language of political modernity of Western societies is not easily translatable in non-Western societies, The Secular Imaginary elaborates upon an intellectual history of secularity in modern India by focusing on the two most influential political leaders - M.K. Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. It is an intellectual history of both idea(s) and intellectuals, which sheds light on Indian narratives of secularity - the Gandhian sarva dharma samabhava, Nehruvian secularism, and unity in diversity. It revisits this dominant narrative of secularity of the twentieth century that influenced and shaped the imagination of the modern nation-state.

This oral history case study was conducted in the Bhutanese refugee camps in Southeastern Nepal in 2010, 2011, and again in 2016. The camps have been in existence since 1992, when the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees with the assistance of the Government of Nepal gave land in the Jhapa and Morang districts of Nepal to establish seven camps to house the refugees. The refugees were Bhutanese citizens, who were forced to leave Bhutan due to the exclusive nationalism and the One Nation, One Peopl?? policy of the Bhutan government (Rizal, 2004: 156). After 20?years in refugee camps in Nepal and failed negotiations by the United Nation High Commissioner of Refugees to repatriate the refugees back to Bhutan, third-country resettlement became the only solution. The study was conducted using the oral method where the refugee population was chosen using purposeful random sampling with convenience and snowball method. The purpose of this study was to collect the stories of the refugee population and document the experiences of the refugees, their journey from Bhutan to the refugee camps and their lives in the camps, waiting for a solution to the problem, eking out a living in the meager camp conditions. The testimonies of the refugees revealed the anguish and sadness of leaving a happy and prosperous life in Bhutan, the uncertainty of the future, and the hope that one day they will be able to regain all what they lost in terms of identity, memory, culture, tradition, language, and also the sense of belonging to a nation.
