Die Landwirtschaft ist ein zu Unrecht vielfach vernachlässigter Wirtschaftssektor. Weltweit wurden seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg in der Landwirtschaft weitaus höhere Produktivitätssteigerungen erzielt als in allen anderen Wirtschaftssektoren. Die kapitalistische Durchdringung dieses Sektors erfolgt in der Form des Oligopsons, durch captive supplies und contract farming. Die Merkmale der modernen Landwirtschaft (Uniformität, genetische Homogenität, Agrarchemie, steriles Saatgut) widersprechen fundamental den Grundgesetzen der Natur. (ICE2)
