ABSTRACT Objective: To identify the repercussions on mental health of groups and populations in the context of the new coronavirus pandemic. Method: Narrative review carired out in three databases, in March 2020, using the descriptors mental health and coronavirus. A total of 19 publications were analyzed, organized in a synoptic chart, containing type of publication, authors, country, sample, objective, and main results. From this analysis, two thematic axes emerged: identification of problems and vulnerable groups in mental health; and mental health interventions and actions. Results: The first axis showed manifestations of suffering - anguish, insomnia, anger, stress, fear. The second revealed the need to build government policies and general guidelines; production of information and communication; and mental health care practices. Conclusions: The repercussions on mental health in the population intensified with the pandemic, identifying vulnerable groups, and the need to build coping strategies and policies aimed at mental health during epidemics.

Objective: To identify and analyze studies in the literature that evaluated the burden of psychiatric patients relatives through Family Burden Evaluation Scale. Method: The articles search was performed in the LILACS and PubMed databases, following inclusion criteria: studies published in the period from 2002 to 2012, with full text and studies with adult humans, in Portuguese, English, and Spanish languages. Results: Ten articles indicated that family members with higher levels of overolad are those closest to the patient and living in conditions of social vulnerability. Conclusion: It is hoped that this study contributes to rethink the public politics on mental health, assist managers and employees of substitute services to cope with the theme of family burden, reflecting quality of life for patients and families.

Objective: Knowing the technologies of the working process predominant in the relationships between professionals and
users with sights to reach the comprehensiveness. Method: It is a qualitative study performed with 26 professionals of a
Psychosocial Care Unit - Centro de Atenção Psicossocial - (CAPS) in a municipality of the Rio Grande do Sul state, during
October 2006. The data were collected by means of a semi-structured interview and, subsequently, subjected to the
thematic analysis. Results: The soft, soft-hard and hard technologies are present in the CAPS daily practices, being that the
welcoming, bond and listening were identified as being soft ones; the structured skills as being soft-hard ones and the
medical charts and the psychotropic drugs as being hard ones. Conclusion: The use of technologies in the CAPS working
process might be mixed with comprehensiveness as the relationship between the health care staff and users is configured in
an interactive space.

Objective: To evaluate the challenges and the potentialities of the network of mental health from the Family Health Strategy. Methods: It is a descriptive and exploratory study, with qualitative methodological approach. The data collection occurred in the period of April to May 2012 in Family Health Units in the city of Pelotas/ RS. There were performed semi-structured interviews with six managers, which were recorded and transcribed verbatim. Results: The challenges are highlighted by: lack of support from management, excessive use of psychotropic drugs, some professionals do not know their users and lack of communication on the network. The potentialities are: the recognition of the involvement of professionals with the actions of mental health and the concern of managers with the practices of mental health within their services. Conclusion: The care involves many social actors that need to work in network to mitigate the challenges and strengthen the potential to affect the care.
