THE INFLUENCE OF RUSSIAN LITERATURE ON THE SPIRITUAL LIFE OF SPAIN IN THE 20TH–21ST CENTURIES

The article is devoted to specific features of perceiving translations of
Russian literature in various cultural and historical contexts of Spain from the late
19th century to the 2020s. Special attention is paid to the influence of the works of
L. Tolstoy, I. Turgenev, F. Dostoevsky and a number of Soviet writers on the Spanish
culture and spiritual life of the society. In addition, the perception of works by Russian
writers of the second half of the 20th century in post-Francoist Spain are considered.
