We are currently experiencing a lack of continuity in the relations between the EU and Russia and the countries of the Eastern Partnership. The war in Ukraine is part of a process of slipping away and collapse of the European neighborhood - the Mediterranean Sea via the Balkans to Eastern Europe, including Russia, the circle of instability to Europe closes. This process has an endemic character that draws its driving force from the social and political tensions that emerged after the collapse of the USSR. The New East formed not only against, but also next EU-Europe, and thus shows the irrelevance of both the EU Common Foreign and Security Policy and the European perspective of a postmodern world.
