[ES] En este Trabajo de Fin de Máster se presenta el diseño de una unidad didáctica (UD) llamada "Sexualidad y reproducción. Propuesta didáctica" perteneciente al Bloque 4. Las personas y la salud. Promoción de la salud de 3o ESO. Inicialmente, se presentan, fundamentándose en una búsqueda bibliográfica, aspectos de interés para el tema, su desarrollo conceptual, así como la utilidad y justificación del mismo y de la estrategia didáctica seguida. Posteriormente, se describe una proyección didáctica contextualizada, siguiendo el marco legislativo vigente, con objetivos y un sistema de evaluación definidos. Las metodologías propuestas buscan la motivación y la adquisición de competencias en el desarrollo de los contenidos, de forma innovadora y aprovechando las TICs, de modo que se favorezca un aprendizaje significativo a la vez que se considera la atención a la diversidad, la transversalidad e interdisciplinariedad. ; [EN] This Master's Thesis presents the design of a didactic unit called "Sexuality and reproduction. Didactic proposal" belonging to Block 4. People and health. Health promotion of 3rd ESO. Firstly, aspects of interest for the topic, its conceptual development, as well as its usefulness and justification and the didactic strategy followed, based on a bibliographic research, are presented. Subsequently, a contextualised didactic projection is described, following the current legislative framework agreement, with defined objectives and an evaluation system. The proposed methodologies seek motivation and acquisition of competences through of the contents. An innovative way and the convenient use of information and communication technology are exposed. In this way, a meaningful learning is benefited. Attention to diversity, transversality and interdisciplinarity are considered as well too.

n order to foster energy-informed real estate decisions, the EU has universalised the energy performance certificates to be displayed on advertising for sale and rental. However, in Spain, such certificates are absent in a disturbing proportion of cases. This paper investigates the prevalence of this problem, its spatial patterns, and the concomitant architectonic and locative attributes. In doing so, data from 49,000 apartments listed for leasing and renting in Metropolitan Barcelona are analysed using conventional and spatial econometric methods. The results suggest that the probability that a listing includes the energy rating of the dwelling largely depends on other neighbouring listings. Furthermore, the information opacity exists for the worst dwellings, which are expected to be the most inefficient, located in areas inhabited by low-income population. That is, the population that could benefit the most from this policy is, precisely, the most uninformed. ; Postprint (author's final draft)

We study the two key social issues of immigration and housing in light/nof each other and analyse which housing policies work best to distribute/ndiversity (racial, economic, cultural) equally across our cities and towns. In/nparticular, we compare the impact of direct government expenditure and/ntax incentives on the housing conditions of immigrants in four European/ncountries: France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom. The analysis/nshows that the different policies which have been adopted in these countries/nhave not succeeded in preventing immigrants from being concentrated/nin certain neighbourhoods. The reason is that housing benefits and/ntax incentives are normally "spatially blind". In our opinion, governments/nshould consider immigration indirectly in their housing policies and, for/ninstance, distribute social housing more evenly across different areas to/npromote sustainable levels of diversity. ; This work is part of the research project "Fiscal policy, immigration and housing" (SEJ2006-13832), directed by Prof. Dr. Antonia Agulló Agüero and financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and the European Social Fund (grant BES-2008-003252).

Within the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive information symmetry regarding financial and environmental benefits, coming from real estate performance, is a key element in the promotion of efficient buildings. However, the link between energy efficiency and its perceived co-benefits is far from perfect in EU countries with a short trajectory in the promotion of such residential attributes, endangering the efficacy of information-symmetry policies. Using a large survey applied to sellers, buyers, lessors and tenants this paper explores, in Spain, the perceived co-benefits in terms of energy savings and thermal comfort of efficient homes and whether such perception correlates to current living conditions, housing tenure and sociodemographic profile of respondents. Results suggest that in general such co-benefits are present in the mind of the main agents of the housing market. However, their perception is far from being homogeneous, it is clearer in the case of households whose current home is poorly insulated or inadequately serviced in terms of thermal active systems. Sociodemographic conditions also play a role in co-benefits perceptions: Elder, wealthier and landlords, irrespective of whether they act as sellers, buyers or lessors, do perceive to a larger extent the co-benefits of efficient homes. [Background] Reducing the burden of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) requires large-scale deployment of intervention programmes, which can be informed by the dynamic pattern of HCV spread. In Spain, ongoing transmission of HCV is mostly fuelled by people who inject drugs (PWID) infected with subtype 1a (HCV1a). ; [Aim] Our aim was to map how infections spread within and between populations, which could help formulate more effective intervention programmes to halt the HCV1a epidemic in Spain. ; [Methods] Epidemiological links between HCV1a viruses from a convenience sample of 283 patients in Spain, mostly PWID, collected between 2014 and 2016, and 1,317, 1,291 and 1,009 samples collected abroad between 1989 and 2016 were reconstructed using sequences covering the NS3, NS5A and NS5B genes. To efficiently do so, fast maximum likelihood-based tree estimation was coupled to a flexible Bayesian discrete phylogeographic inference method. ; [Results] The transmission network structure of the Spanish HCV1a epidemic was shaped by continuous seeding of HCV1a into Spain, almost exclusively from North America and European countries. The latter became increasingly relevant and have dominated in recent times. Export from Spain to other countries in Europe was also strongly supported, although Spain was a net sink for European HCV1a lineages. Spatial reconstructions showed that the epidemic in Spain is diffuse, without large, dominant within-country networks. ; [Conclusion] To boost the effectiveness of local intervention efforts, concerted supra-national strategies to control HCV1a transmission are needed, with a strong focus on the most important drivers of ongoing transmission, i.e. PWID and other high-risk populations. ; Bram Vrancken is a postdoctoral research fellow funded by the Research Foundation Flanders - Fonds voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek Vlaanderen (FWO, Flanders, Belgium).
