La importancia filosófica de Lukács para el pensamiento del siglo XX es también legendaria pues se le considera pionero en al menos dos sentidos; por un lado, como padre del "existencialismo", con su libro temprano "El alma y las formas", de 1911; y también fue de los primeros en profundizar en las reflexiones sobre la llamada "alienación" o "reificación", en este libro de referencia Historia y conciencia de clase (Honneth, 2007; p. 23). Inclusive, para filósofos marxistas estructuralistas, como Lucien Goldmann, el joven Lukács representa entonces el primero en intentar reflexionar el vínculo entre el estructuralismo y el marxismo.

RESUMENLa creciente oferta de libros educativos para la interculturalidad demuestra que el libro sigue siendo un instrumento didáctico y político. Por ello, cada vez se ha puesto mayor atención en sus procesos de producción, surgiendo una serie de principios implícitos en torno a cómo debería ser la autoría para garantizar la simetría entre los sujetos del escenario educativo y del espacio público. Este artículo pretende debatir y reflexionar en torno a ellos a partir de un ejercicio de réplica de una autoría horizontal denominada «Entre Voces», en un contexto de diversidad cultural distinto al que le dio origen. La conclusión apuntala hacia la consideración del co-análisis metacomunicativo entre los participantes como mecanismo indispensable para el logro de un texto educativo intercultural.

ABSTRACTThe increasing supply of educational books for interculturality is proof that books continue to be a didactic and political tool. Increasing attention has thus been placed on the production processes of this literature that has witnessed the emergence of a series of implicit principles around what authorship should be like in order to be able to ensure symmetry between subjects in the educational field and in public space. This paper aims to debate and reflect on these principles based on a replication exercise of horizontal authorship that has been called «Intra Voices» in a context of cultural diversity that is different from the context in which it originally emerged. The conclusion points to considering meta-communicative co-analysis among participants as an indispensable mechanism to achieve a text on intercultural education.

This article delves into the concept of 'armed peace' in the context of the social and armed conflict in Urabá, Colombia. The term 'armed peace' refers to the relative stability that was established in Urabá since the 1990s, when paramilitary groups took control of the region from subversive guerrillas with the aid of the state, local capitalists, Banana transnational corporations, and trade unions. This stability was achieved through a paramilitary rule that was based on capitalist interests and enabled by the suppression of subversion. The study explores the relationship between peace and consent, and how consent has affected social and production relations in Urabá. By examining the Colombian conflict as a hegemonic vehicle that has shaped the peace in Urabá, this article aims to shed light on how apparent social phenomena can be essential to capitalism in specific contexts. Hegemonic vehicles are historical institutions that restructure social relations and, through concessions, hinder class struggle. In Colombia, the conflict can be understood as such as it has been institutionalized to gain workers' consent to the social order over time. In Urabá, this process allowed for the reorganization of interests and the establishment of the status quo's armed peace, which overtook the old consent to the project of subversive peace. Our analysis could extend beyond Colombia's specific case and seeks to critique social institutions that enjoy relative 'consensus' but serve to transport and enforce capitalism's core values. These historically specific structures play a key role in achieving consent to capitalism in conflictive social relations, both in and beyond the workplace, and exist within specific social contexts that echo the hegemonic global political economy.

Este artículo teórico se centra en la elaboración de un marco conceptual para investigar los procesos de participación del alumnado. Apoyándonos en planteamientos de los modelos de democracia participativa y deliberativa, partimos de nuestra consideración de la democracia como una forma de vida, que en la escuela debe acompañarse de valores como la búsqueda del bien común, la pluralidad y la creación de una atmósfera de confianza. Definimos la participación del alumnado como un conjunto de procesos (diálogo, toma de decisiones y acción) por el que los alumnos se hacen protagonistas de la realidad que viven, siendo parte y tomando parte de la vida de los centros educativos. Analizamos la relación entre los tres procesos, para después plantear la pregunta de quién debe participar y finalmente señalamos algunas conclusiones sobre la propuesta. ; This theoretical article focuses in the development of a conceptual framework to investigate pupil participation processes. With the support of ideas taken from the participatory and deliberative models of democracy, we use as a starting point our consideration of democracy as a way of life, which in school must be accompanied by values of the common good, plurality and the creation of an atmosphere of trust. We consider that pupil participation is composed by three processes (dialogue, decision-making and action) that make pupils become agents of their own education, being part and taking part in the life of the educational centers. [spa] El droit de suite es un derecho de propiedad intelectual que permite al autor de una obra de arte original participar en el precio de las sucesivas reventas de la misma en el mercado secundario, siempre y cuando las transmisiones se realicen con la intervención de un profesional del mercado del arte, esto es, una galería, una casa de subastas, un marchante u otro tipo de intermediario. Este derecho se reguló por primera vez en Francia, en 1920, pero en España tuvimos que esperar hasta 1987 para su introducción en la Ley de Propiedad Intelectual – hoy regulado mediante ley especial–. No obstante, la dilación en su reconocimiento no resultó ser una cuestión exclusiva del legislador español, habida cuenta de que apenas seis países contaban con el droit de suite en sus ordenamientos jurídicos a mitad del siglo pasado. Asimismo, el mayor logro conseguido hasta ese momento por los partidarios de su expansión internacional había sido la inserción en el Convenio de Berna para la Protección de las Obras Literarias y Artísticas de un precepto que preveía un reconocimiento facultativo del droit de suite por parte de los Estados de la Unión de Berna. En los últimos años, en cambio, hemos asistido a un interés renovado por el droit de suite, principalmente por causa de la paulatina incorporación en el derecho de autor de los derechos de simple remuneración y, sobre todo, por un espectacular incremento del volumen de negocio del mercado del arte, lo que provoca que las potenciales regalías a percibir por los titulares de este derecho sean cada vez más importantes. En consecuencia, numerosos países han optado por legislar el droit de suite, como así ha hecho la Unión Europea, donde esta institución jurídica ha encontrado un baluarte desde que la Directiva 2001/84/CE relativa al derecho de participación en beneficio del autor de una obra de arte original se transpuso a sus Estados miembros. A pesar de ello, este proceso de regulación internacional no puede considerarse culminado, extremo que tiene que concebirse como un fracaso para un derecho que en el ámbito internacional se aplica conforme al principio de reciprocidad material. A diferencia de otros derechos de autor menos controvertidos, el droit de suite cuenta con poderosos detractores –especialmente en los países de la tradición jurídica del copyright–, quienes lo conciben como una amenaza para la competitividad de sus mercados artísticos. Así, de las tres potencias mundiales en este sector económico, los Estados Unidos y China se resisten, por el momento, a su implementación, mientras el Reino Unido no tuvo más remedio que aceptarla al encontrarse vinculado por el acervo comunitario. Por otro lado, a juzgar por el aumento de la atención doctrinal dispensada al droit de suite, poco estudiado por los juristas tradicionalmente, el debate sobre su naturaleza jurídica y su justificación teórica parece seguir abierto, aspectos que deben ser complementados con un análisis del derecho desde una perspectiva económica, al objeto de dilucidar los efectos del mismo en el mercado del arte. ; [eng] Droit de suite is granted by copyright law and provides the author of an original work of art with the right to claim a share of the profits on the resale of his work of art. The sale must involve a professional party or intermediary, such as salesrooms, art galleries and, in general, any dealers in works of art. This right was first regulated in France in 1920, but it was not until 1987 that droit de suite was recognized by the Spanish Copyright Act. Nonetheless, this late recognition also happened in many other countries. In fact, only six European countries had legal provisions for this right in the 1950s. The greatest achievement for the recognition of droit de suite took place when it was included in the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works which established optional recognition of droit de suite by the States of the Berne Union. In recent years, the gradual recognition in copyright law of the so-called «rights to remuneration» and the spectacular increase in the turnover of the art market has raised the interest in droit de suite, as it may provide copyright holders of a work of art with higher and higher royalties. As a result, many countries have decided to introduce the droit de suite in their copyright legislation. Indeed, the European Union has adopted the Directive 2001/84/EC on the resale right for the benefit of the author of an original work of art that compels all the Member States to recognize this right. Despite this, the international recognition of droit de suite cannot be considered completed. This right is only recognized in the international arena according to the principle of material reciprocity, which must be seen as a failure for its global recognition. Unlike other less controversial copyright issues, there are powerful detractors of droit de suite, especially the countries that follow common law tradition and consider this right to be a threat to the competitiveness of their art markets. The three leading countries in the global art market –United States, United Kingdom and China– have been reluctant to accept the droit de suite; the United States and China still offer resistance against its implementation while the United Kingdom was compelled to regulate it according to the Directive 2001/84/EC on the resale right. Last but not least, there is an increasing academic interest in studying the droit de suite. Traditionally, scholars did not pay too much attention to this right, so its legal nature and theoretical justification seems to be open to debate. All these legal and dogmatic aspects must be studied in relation to its economic effects, so it seems necessary to analyze this right from both, the legal and an economic perspective, in order to analyze it and explain the economic effect of droit de suite on the art market.

Fecha de lectura: 07-11-2014 ; La escuela es un espacio privilegiado para la transmisión y la construcción de la organización y los valores democráticos porque permite a la vez el ejercicio y el aprendizaje de la democracia y la participación. En esta tesis me centro en el estudio de la participación del alumnado, un componente fundamental de la democracia en la escuela. Entiendo la participación del alumnado como un conjunto de procesos –diálogo, toma de decisiones y acción- por el que los alumnos y las alumnas se hacen protagonistas de su educación. A pesar de que hay razones de distinto tipo para considerar que la participación del alumnado es importante, investigaciones en distintos países señalan de forma recurrente que en la vida cotidiana de nuestras escuelas los procesos de participación están muy restringidos o son prácticamente inexistentes. A esto debemos sumarle que, aunque la necesidad de la democracia y la participación en la escuela están bien fundamentadas y están reconocidas formalmente a nivel político y legislativo en Europa, hay sectores del profesorado que no tienen claro su significado y sus implicaciones en la práctica y en la investigación no destacan las propuestas a este respecto. Por estas razones, este trabajo tiene como objetivo general responder a la siguiente pregunta: ¿cómo se puede organizar y promover la participación del alumnado en la escuela? Para ello, he estudiado casos de escuelas de Educación Primaria y Secundaria que tienen buenas prácticas de participación del alumnado, con la intención de ilustrar posibles formas de actuar en los centros y abrir vías de reflexión sobre esta cuestión. Algunos ejemplos de prácticas que serán analizadas serán la creación de estructuras de participación estudiantiles a nivel de aula y de centro y el uso de metodologías participativas en el aula. En definitiva, esta tesis indaga, mediante un constante intercambio entre la teoría y la práctica, sobre lo que implica que en la escuela los alumnos y las alumnas participen y sobre cuál es el significado de la participación. ; School is an exceptional place for the transmission of democratic organization and values since it allows both the practice and the learning of participation. In this doctoral thesis I focus on the study of student participation as a main component of school democracy. I define it as a group of processes –dialogue, decision-making and action- that make pupils become authors of their own education. Despite the fact that there are different reasons to support that pupil participation is a relevant matter, and that there is a political and legislative recognition of it in the European Union, several studies in different countries have showed very restricted participation processes in our schools. In addition, many teachers recognize they do not know the meaning or the implications of participatory principles in their practice. For these reasons, the general aim of this work is to study how pupil participation can be organized and promoted in schools. For this purpose, I have carried out a qualitative case study of Primary and Secondary schools with good participatory practices in order to illustrate possible courses of action and to open ways of reflection about this issue. Among the practices that have been analyzed we can find the creation of pupil participation structures in the classroom and the school and the use of participatory methodologies in the classroom. To sum up, this thesis is an inquiry into the implications and the meaning of pupil participation through a constant dialogue between theory and practice

The representation of queer Chicanos and Latinos in cultural production has historically centered on negative stereotypes, depicting them as sick, passive, or hopeless, as psychopaths or victims of psychopaths, as tragic figures, or as comic relief. Nevertheless, a number of artists and writers have reconfigured queer Chicano and Latino identities by creating images that contest such stereotypes and by reclaiming and resignifying terms that have been used to denigrate these subjects, such as maricón, joto, and mariposa. This essay examines the use of butterfly iconography in cultural texts to demonstrate how butterflies as metaphors for queer Chicanos and Latinos—or mariposas—can facilitate a mariposa consciousness, a decolonial site grounded in an awareness of the social location, social relations, and history of the mariposa subject. An examination of the works of writer Rigoberto González and artist Tino Rodríguez shows how butterflies can be used to reimagine identities in innovative and positive social locations. Such sites function as discursive spaces where queer Chicanos and Latinos can overcome the multiple forms of oppression that shape their subjectivities: patriarchy, homophobia, and racism.
