Resumen: En la universidad española actual existe una clara segregación horizontal por género, manifestada en la desigual distribución del alumnado, y otra vertical constatada en el desequilibrio en cuanto a la representación en los órganos de gobierno. En la Universidad de Sevilla el porcentaje de hombres casi duplica al de mujeres en el colectivo de Personal Docente e Investigador. Nuestro objetivo consiste en estudiar la imagen que la mujer en los órganos de gobierno de la US proyecta en el profesorado, para analizar posibles desequilibrios en función del género. Se trata de una investigación de carácter cuantitativo complementada con técnicas de corte cualitativo. La incorporación de la mujer a dichos órganos y la imagen que se proyecta evidencia sus aportaciones en pro de la mejora de la sociedad en que vivimos, a la vez que favorece el derribo del denominado "techo de cristal".

The objectives of this research were to highlight socioeducational influences on marriage formation in Morocco, and to analyse–by region and gender–the influence of education on strategies of marriage formation. A comparative methodology was employed, using proportional quota samples of three Moroccan regions: Greater Casablanca (the most industrialised and economically powerful region); the Interior (archaic and rural); Tangier-Tétouan (culturally similar to Spain). Homogamy, endogamy and traditional meeting strategies prevail, with regional differences attributable to the degree of modernisation. Moroccan culture, law and religion differ from western models, with concepts of family and marriage rooted in custom and tradition, and a universal respect for Islam. We conclude that further modernisation in Morocco is possible but must respect cultural diversity.

Migration is an undeniable reality which is reflected in schools scenarios - one of the key institutions of our society - as well as in policies and educational measures that have been adopted in certain European Union countries in order to respond to the educational needs resulting from the cultural diversity that characterizes us. Because of that and due to the importance of integrating foreign students in our increasingly pluralistic context, this article analyzes the legislative and policy documents raised by the European Council regarding the education of immigrants' children as well as a comparative study on certain integration measures taken by Germany, Spain, France and England in their schools. ; Como bien es sabido, el hecho migratorio es una realidad incuestionable, viéndose reflejado este escenario en las escuelas -una de las instituciones esenciales de nuestra sociedad-, así como en las políticas y medidas educativas que se vienen adoptando en determinados países de la Unión Europea, para dar respuesta a las necesidades educativas fruto de la diversidad cultural que nos caracteriza. Por ello, y debido a la importancia de la integración del alumnado extranjero en nuestro contexto cada vez más plural, pasamos a analizar en el presente artículo los documentos legislativos y normativos que el Consejo Europeo ha planteado respecto a la educación de hijos de inmigrantes, así como un estudio comparado sobre determinadas medidas de integración adoptadas por Alemania, España, Francia e Inglaterra en sus escuelas.Palavras claves: Diversidad.
