The composition and properties of fluorine–anhydrite and steel–refining slag which are wastes of production of hydrogen fluoride and steel were determined. It is established that fluorine–anhydrite of the current output does not meet the requirements to materials for the production of Portland cement. Therefore to improve the technical and consumer properties of fluorine-anhydrite (for increasing the amount of CaSO4 ⋅2H2O and neutralization of H2SO4) the studies of its' conditioning processes with steel– refining slag were carried out. It was found that the mass transfer coefficient of sulfuric acid through the capillary and the degree of its neutralization by slag depend on the dispersion of fluorine–anhydrite, its porosity and initial acidity. The most effective binding of sulfuric acid occurs with the introduction of slag in stoichiometric amounts, the size of fluorine–anhydrite granules up to 20 mm and a processing time of 60 minutes. After storage in air-humid conditions for 12 hours of fluorine–anhydrite treated with slag the strength of its granules, the amount of dihydrate gypsum and toxicological properties meet the requirements. ; The work was supported by Act 211 Government of the Russian Federation, contract No 02.A03.21.0006.

The purpose of this article is to study the peculiarities of the behavioral manifestation of Ukrainian screen characters in order to identify qualitative features characteristic of the Ukrainian mentality. This will allow us to determine the themes of screen works that will be relevant for the contemporary Ukrainian viewer, which will improve the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of Ukrainian audiovisual art.
The methodology. Five scientific sources were studied (one dissertation, one collective scientific work, and three scientific articles), which allowed us to analyze the relationship between the behavioral reactions of the screen character and the nature of fear that was formed in the process of adaptive transformation of society. On the example of the films "The Guide" by Oles Sanin, "The Red" by Zaza Buadze, and "The Rising Hawk" by Leonid Osyka, the main themes and conflicts that characterize Ukrainian identity were identified and formulated.
The results of the study demonstrate certain stable psychophysical reactions displayed by the screen character in a situation of existential conflict caused by the historical development of Ukrainian society. The nature of fears, as the main instrument of the motivating impulse in the process of forming cognitive, emotional and behavioral reactions, is determined by the level of the scale of the hero's own identity recognition.
The scientific novelty of the study lies in the author's attempt to consider the conflict of the Ukrainian screen hero as a value clash between the goal-setting of a free individual and a society that has undergone adaptive transformations, which is realized through the manifestation of a certain behavioral nature of screen characters.
The practical significance of the research findings will help in the process of creating new screen works. This will increase the attention to Ukrainian cinema.

The purpose of the article is to investigate the dependence of the thematic impact of a screen work on the emotional sphere of the Ukrainian audience and the specifics of the behavioral manifestation of the screen hero. To determine the dependence of psychophysical reactions on the nature of fear. To determine the nature of the influence of syncretism of cultures on the formation of topics that concern the audience in Ukraine.
The methodology. The study of the behavior of the Ukrainian screen hero in the process of analyzing Ukrainian screen works of the last 50 years. Determina-tion of the dependence of heroes on the theme of the movie. Study of analytical works on the nature of human fear. Participation in specialized international conferences with reports on the topic. An experimental way of studying the relationship between the nature of fear and the palette of psychophysical manifestations of the performers' behavioral characteristics. A perfor-mance was staged with 15 actors and shown to the audience.
The results. The nature of emotional transformation as a result of the syncretism of the pagan and Christian paradigms was established. The impact of this on the creation of an adaptive defense mechanism in the form of active mimicry. Replacement of the authentic value culture with the borrowed one. Development of a psychological model of secondary nature in the self-perception of the vast majority of society as the basic one. Transformation of the types and scale of the impact of fear. The field of conflict was identified, which encourages the hero to return to authentic cultural values.
The scientific novelty. Using the analysis of the nature of fear to select the behavioral manifestations of on-screen heroes will create an opportunity to maximize the capture of viewer attention through recognizable themes.
The practical significance. The application of the proposed mechanism in the drama of screen works will stimulate Ukrainian film production as a result of increased demand for it among the audience. This, in turn, will have a quantitative, qualitative and profitable impact on the development of this art form.

Purpose
This study aims to examine a potential case of interdependence in loan and deposit interest rate setting.


Design/methodology/approach
The authors set up a theoretical microsimulation model with endogenous loan interest rate determination via a learning algorithm.


Findings
The authors show that in certain environments, it may be beneficial for large banks to incorporate information on retail funding costs into the lending rate setting decision.

The author's model is based on the realistic money creation mechanism.
