FAKTOR RISIKO DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE 2: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
International Diabetes Federation menginformasikan pada tahun 2015 jumlah penderita Diabetes Mellitus (DM) mencapai 415 juta orang. Masyarakat lebih banyak terkena penyakit DM tipe 2. Berbagai macam komplikasi dapat muncul akibat DM yang tidak ditangani dengan baik. Selain itu, DM juga merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab Gangguan Fungsi Kognitif (GFK). DM Tipe 2 juga menyebabkan turunnya kualitas SDM, karena kesehatan fisik dan pikiran yang terganggu serta meningkatnya pengeluaran biaya kesehatan untuk pengobatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami faktor risiko penyakit DM Tipe 2. Penelitian pada kajian ini menggunakan metode sistematik (systematic review). Strategi pencarian yang digunakan untuk memperoleh artikel-artikel penelitian dengan menggunakan fasilitas database online melalui laman Google Scholar, Portal GARUDA, dan PubMed. Artikel yang telah diperoleh dipilih berdasarkan publikasi yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2010 sampai 2020 (10 tahun). Hasil yang ditemukan yaitu terdapat faktor yang dapat meninggikan risiko terkena DM tipe 2 antara lain usia, genetik, hipertensi, dislipidemia, kurangnya aktivitas fisik, merokok dan manajemen stres. Ada dua tipe faktor risiko yang dapat meninggikan risiko mengalami DM tipe 2 yaitu faktor risiko yang tak bisa diubah dan faktor risiko yang bisa diubah. Diharapkan Pemerintah dapat menghimbau masyarakat untuk menerapkan gaya hidup sehat dan melakukan deteksi dini sebagai tahap pertama dalam pencegahan penyakit DM tipe 2Kata Kunci : Fakor Risiko, Diabetes Mellitus, DM Tipe 2.---IDF or the International Diabetes Federation revealed in 2015 the number of people with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) reached 415 million. In addition, DM is also one of the factors causing cognitive impairment (GFK). Type 2 diabetes also causes a decrease in the quality of human resources, due to physical health and disturbed minds and increased spending on medical expenses for treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine risk factors for Type 2 diabetes. The research in this study uses a systematic method (systematic review). Search strategy used to obtain research articles using online database facilities through the Google Scholar, GARUDA Portal and PubMed pages. The articles that have been obtained are selected based on publications published between 2010 and 2020 (10 years). The results found are factors that can increase the risk of developing type 2 DM including age, genetics, hypertension, dyslipidemia, lack of physical activity, smoking and stress management. There are two types of risk factors that can increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, namely risk factors that cannot be changed and risk factors that can be changed. It is hoped that the Government can call on people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and make early detection as the first step in preventing type 2 DM.Keywords : Risk Factors, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2 Diabetes.
