Utilisation en physique nucléaire de propriétés des sections efficaces de réaction au voisinage de leurs singularités

The method developped by Chew and Low for the study of scattering by instable particles can be applied to nuclear physics.
The nonrelativistic cross section for simply connected graphs with one intermediate line, two incoming and two outgoing particles is calculated.
The connection of these graphs to stripping, heavy particle stripping and pick-up reactions is emphasized, the extrapolation of the cross section of these reactions is shown to give indications on single-particle widths of nuclear bound states and on the existence of cluster states in the reacting nuclei.
