La muerte es una certeza que a veces negamos. Ser consciente de que la muerte puede ocurrir en cualquier momento es parte importante de la madurez emocional de la persona ya que refuerza el valor de la propia vida y la de los demás. El objetivo de este artículo es invitar a la reflexión sobre la importancia de una educación para la muerte. Ofrecemos algunas orientaciones dirigidas a la educación emocional del alumno respecto a la idea de la muerte, a través del área de la Lengua y la Literatura, es decir mediante la lectura de obras literarias. ; Death is a certainty that we sometimes deny. Being aware that death can occur at any time is an important part of the emotional maturity of the person as it reinforces the value of one's life and that of others. The goal of this article is to invite to reflection on the importance of death education. We offer some strategies directed to the student's emotional education regarding the idea of death through the area of Language and Literature; through the reading of literary works, the study of the author and the political and social history when they were written.
