Education plays an important role in shaping the character of the nation, especially religious education. Islamic religious education is part of general compulsory courses, including in non-religious universities. Its existence is regulated through laws and regulations at various levels of government. The implementation of the learning is faced with several challenges and problems. Through the data obtained by juridical normative, qualitative and literature methods, it is known that the challenges are related to the globalization era, students' perceptions of religious subjects, student educational background, the amount of SKS and learning time.
Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan pendidikan multicultural pada SMK Kesehatan Mutiara Bangsa Purwakarta Jawa Barat. Metode penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan sumber data yang diperoleh dari kajian literature atau studi pustaka serta observasi danwawancara. Lokasi penelitian SMK Kesehatan Mutiara Bangsa Purwakarta Jawa Barat. Responden sejumlah 38 siswa kelas X. Hasil penelitian: Penerapan pendidikan Multicultural di SMK Kesehatan Mutiara Bangsa Purwakarta Jawa Barat sudah sesuai dan terlaksana dengan baik.1).Penerapan menghargai pluralitas dan heterogenitas sudah sesuai dengan intruksi pemerintah berdasarkan UUD 1945 dan Pancasila. 2).Penerapan Idiologi sudah baik dilaksanakan sesuai dengan intruksi pemerintah berdasarkan UUD 1945 dan Pancasila.3).Penerapan konsep multikultural telah menggunakan konsep demokrasi, keadilan, hukum, nilai-nilai budaya,etos, hak asasi manusia. 4). Pelaksanaan pendidikan multikultural sebagai ide dan proses sudah terlaksana tanpa melihat gender, kelas sosial, etnik, ras, dan karakteristik budaya harus mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama untuk belajar di sekolah 5)Pelaksanaan Tujuan Pendidikan multikultural sudah terlaksana dengan baik tidak membedakan kelompok etnis atau tradisi budaya dan agama Pendidikan akan dasar-dasar kemanusiaan untuk perdamaian, kemerdekaan, dan solidaritas. 6).Pelaksanaan pendidikan multikulturan telah menggunakan model, yakni :a) Pengajaran tentang keragaman budaya sebuah pendekatan asimiliasi kultural; b) Pengajaran tentang berbagai pendekatan dalam tata hubungan sosial;c) Pengajaran untuk memajukan pluralisme tanpa membedakan strata sosial dalam masyarakat;d) Pengajaran tentang refleksi keragaman untuk meningkatkan pluralisme dan kesamaan . 7).Penerapan Pendidikan Islam dalam Pelaksanaan Multikultul Comission on Education for theTwenty-first Century, bahwa pendidikan sepanjang hayat sebagai suatu bangunan ditopang oleh empat pilar, yaitu (a) leraning to know atau learning to learn, (b) learning to do, ...
Customary village is small group of people who still survive and consistently preserve the culture and belief of their ancestors. Local cultural values deserve to be promoted to the application of character education in school. The qualitative research understanding the life and local cultural values is carried out in the people of Kampung Adat Cirendeu in West Java. The local culture of the Kampung Adat Cirendeu people holds the principle of ngindung ka waktu and mibapa ka jaman which has the meaning of maintaining identity but still keeping abreast of the times. One of the local cultural values that still preserves until today is the culture of cassava-based food as a substitute for rice. This culture has been going on for a century and become an inspiration for the national food diversification program. One of the preservation efforts is through the example of their ancestors. Promotion and granting food culture values to the character education in schools involve various educational stakeholders (teachers, educators, governments, people, and customary peoples) that should give an example to the students. The most effective method is to form students with character and in the end they will be familiar with local food culture and does not depend on rice. Nilai-nilai budaya lokal layak dipromosikan untuk penerapan pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Penelitian kualitatif yang memahami kehidupan dan nilai-nilai budaya lokal ini dilakukan pada masyarakat Kampung Adat Cirendeu di Jawa Barat. Budaya lokal masyarakat Kampung Adat Cirendeu memegang prinsip ngindung ka waktu dan mibapa ka jaman yang memiliki makna mempertahankan identitas tetapi tetap mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Salah satu nilai budaya lokal yang masih dipertahankan hingga saat ini yaitu budaya makanan berbasis singkong sebagai pengganti beras. Budaya ini telah berlangsung selama satu abad dan menjadi inspirasi bagi program diversifikasi pangan nasional. Salah satu upaya pelestariannya yaitu melalui contoh dari nenek moyang mereka. Promosi dan pemberian nilai-nilai budaya makanan untuk pendidikan karakter di sekolah melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan pendidikan (guru, pendidik, pemerintah, masyarakat, dan masyarakat adat) yang harus memberikan contoh kepada siswa. Metode yang paling efektif yaitu membentuk para siswa dengan karakter dan pada akhirnya mereka akan terbiasa dengan budaya makanan lokal dan tidak bergantung pada beras. Teacher welfare is indeed an important thing, because teachers need guarantees for the work they do. To Teachers need appreciation for their duties. Teachers have the responsibility to create quality learning in order to facilitate the achievement of the objectives of the subjects. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method. Teacher welfare is a guide for teachers to continue to be enthusiastic in carrying out their duties. Teachers of Islamic Religious Education subjects, will be happy if the clarity of the welfare of their work is guaranteed either by the government, or by the private sector if they are committed. The indicators of learning quality consist of: appropriate learning design and focus on standards, delivery of high quality learning, learner-centered, increasing students' activeness in learning, evaluating students, implementing positive behavior management strategies, clarity of learning for students. Learning has clear objectives, if the teacher can organize it well, the learning objectives will be achieved, otherwise it will not be achieved. With the existence of teacher welfare prepared by the government and the private, teacher must be more enthusiastic in teaching, learning will be more interesting, not boring. Innovation in learning Islamic Religious Education needs to be done so that it is of higher quality.
Quality control in the management of education is faced with constraints of limited educational resources. Therefore we need an effort to control quality in the form of guarantees, so that all aspects related to education services provided are in accordance with or exceeding national education standards. This paper aims to describe the implementation of education quality assurance in Madrasah Aliyah An-Najiyah Bandung, including; implementation of madrasah quality assurance, quality implementation obstacles, and solutions in overcoming obstacles to implementing quality assurance in Madrasah aliyah An-Najiyah Bandung. This research uses a qualitative approach through descriptive methods. The data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and literature study. The results showed that; first, In terms of quality assurance in terms of the eight national education standards in Madrasah Aliyah An-Najiyah, Bandung, it is at a good standard level and even exceeds the minimum service standard so that it becomes a distinct advantage for this madrasa. High competitive power makes the process of implementing quality assurance more stringent. Second, the internal obstacle that arises is the absence of a special quality assurance institution internal to the institution that controls all aspects of quality assurance. Third, the solution to the obstacles that arise will be minimized if institutionally already built.
