Objectives: To analyze the nutritional educational actions implemented with preschoolers in a university day care center in the perspective of those responsible and to describe the perception of those responsible for preschool children about the educational actions applied. Method: A qualitative, descriptive study using the Focal Group technique with those responsible and semi structured interview with the teachers of the Nursery of the Federal University of Fluminense who were submitted to educational actions. Content analysis was carried out according to Bardin besides Vygostki's thought related to the process of teaching learning. Results: From the analysis emerged two categories: Actions in Food and Nutritional Education in the perception of the teachers; and Actions in Food and Nutrition Education - changes in eating habits in teachers' view. Conclusions: it can be said that there was learning through play activities in a moment of relaxation for children where the culinary act was a practice of social integration.

Objective: To identify the profile of women participating in the Extension Program "Nursing in the Health Care of the Elderly and their Caregivers" (known as EASIC). Method: This is a documentary research with quantitative data approach, conducted between the months of June and July 2010, at the EASIC. The data processing took place by means of simple percentage frequency. Results: of 458 women served in the EASIC, 44,1% were aged from 71 to 80 years; 30,1% were married; 16,2% received one minimum wage; 36,7% had not finished the Elementary School; 20,1% were catholic; 53,9% lived in the city of Niterói and 63,1% had associations of several diseases. Conclusion: the knowledge of the profile of the clientele to be served is crucial for identifying the demands and health needs, by respecting the skills and preserving the resilience of this population.

Objectives: to raise the diagnosis of elderly nursing in nursing consultation and relate those diagnostics with the results of neurological test. Method: a documental research with 8 elderly of age or older than 60 years old of the program participants of health care of elderly and diagnosed with alzheimer's disease. There were used forms of consultations of nursing, and neurological and cognition tests between may to october 2011; they were statistically treated and with cep no. 0239.0.258.000-11. Results: the nursing diagnosis was the chronic confusion with test results for evaluation of immediate memory, incidental and late. Risk of falls was related to the watch test. Poor knowledge was related to recognition of figures and evaluation of learning. Standard prejudiced sleep, risk of solitude and chronic sadness helped to diagnose depression. Conclusion: this work allowed establishing relationship between nursing diagnosis with neurology for planning of nursing care.

Objective: To describe characteristics rose in historical nursing of elderly pointing to osteoporosis and the risk of a same Outreach Program of Nursing, Fluminense Federal University. Results: It was found that 48 (12,4%) of elderly nursing historical records had problems related to osteoporosis, which stimulated the construction of an extension project for osteoporosis prevention and health promotion seeking to minimize the problem. It was used as strategy, consultations, distributing informative folder and stimulate the maintenance of healthy habits. Conclusion: This problem goes beyond individuality to reach the public space. An isolated action reaches only the intended population, but when other institutions are engaging in this care will contribute with their customers, which is reflected in the well-being of the entire community.
