This article has analyzed the implementation of a didactic unit of innovation based on the 17th century in a third year of ESO during the second period of practices of the master's degree in Teacher Training at the University of Murcia. To do this, a theoretical framework based on historical thinking and the strategies and teaching resources used is provided. Next, a brief description of the didactic unit is made, as well as the method used to carry out the research, exposing its objectives, the context and the information collection instruments, which basically consist of two questionnaires passed before and after implementation. of the training unit. Finally, the results of these questionnaires have been presented and analyzed based on the main objectives of the work, and finally the educational implications that the results and conclusions obtained have been discussed. The results and conclusions have been positive.

Abstract: The 20th century saw the rise of film productions of agrarian documentaires upon on the olive grove that, besides common major themes -olive planting and harvest, oil extraction and storage- portrayed other visual elements favored by the knurled trunks of the olive tree, the religious touches derived from the oil applications, or events linked to the festivity that marked the end of the harvest period. Elements, in all, that rather than addressing to the didactic dimension, introduced cultural and political aspects, thus fostering the discursive structure of the documentary itself. The present paper revisits a series of documentaries of that particular genre, some of them directed by the Marqués de Villa Alcázar, and a 1952 No-Do´s production, to deliver, starting from a comparative analysis of these works, of previous examples and their intersection, whith the aim of revealing the textures that define the underlying cinematographic discourses.

The recent recovery of Los yunteros de Extremadura (The Plowmen of Extremadura), a documentary produced by the Instituto de Reforma Agraria in 1936, is a step forward in the reconstruction of the filmography of the Second Spanish Republic, a crucial period in the history of the propaganda documentary. Requested by the Republican Propaganda Agency in Paris, Los yunteros de Extremadura was nevertheless especially critical of the Republican government. This study analyzes this question as well as the iconography of the film and its interesting dialogue with Buñuel's Las Hurdes/ Land Without Bread (1933 / 1936).
