La diversidad es una característica presente en todos nosotros, y la obligación de satisfacer las necesidades educativas que surgen es que la diversidad se establece claramente en la legislación española. La asociación de la atención a la diversidad con la atención a la discapacidad es una interpretación errónea e incompleta del concepto. La atención a la diversidad está muy desiguálmente distribuida geográficamente y por nivel educativo. Una escuela con verdadera vocación integradora debe incluir de forma trasversal la atención a la diversidad en su estrategia de formación. ; Diversity is a feature present in all of us, and the obligation to meet the educational needs emerging is that diversity is clearly stated in the Spanish legislation. The association of the attention to diversity with the attention to disability is an erroneous and incomplete interpretation of the concept. The attention to diversity is very unevenly distributed geographically and by educational level. A school with real integrationist vocation should include transversally the attention to diversity in its training strategy.
