Kemajuan Kota Surabaya pada awal abad ke-20 ditandai oleh perubahan di berbagai bidang. Perubahan ini menyebabkan munculnya simbol modernitas kota, seperti industri, transportasi, dan permukiman modern. Perkembangan industri mampu mengubah mata pencaharian penduduk kota dari sektor pertanian ke pabrik dan kerajinan. Kegiatan ekonomi industri didukung oleh masuknya kendaraan modern yang berfungsi sebagai alat angkutan barang dan orang. Kesempatan kerja yang terbuka mendorong laju migrasi, sehingga populasi penduduk meningkat. Artikel ini menjelaskan unsur-unsur yang menunjukkan perubahan Surabaya menjadi kota modern. Penjelasan lain berhubungan dengan perubahan tatanan fisik kota dan komposisi penduduk. Tujuan tulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemajuan Kota Surabaya ketika terjadi perubahan secara simultan yang disebabkan oleh perkembangan berbagai bidang.
This article intends to study the relation between social spectators and the troupe of theatre in Surabaya. The spectators were needed in traditional performance because the presence of spectators was related to the fund raising. Spectators were related to fund. Troup of theatre was basically commercial and so the spectators had significant function in providing financial support to members of he troupe. Most of the people of Surabaya liked theatre, such as ludruk and wayang wong. Both ludruk and wayang wong had to make their admirers and fans happy and at the same time obey the instructions and regulations of the local government.
Abstract This study aims to determine the kinds or variety of food that was in Tembayat listed in Serat Centhini. For administration, said Tembayat is no longer entered in the population, but at least the word Tembayat the show to an area of old are now in the whole territory of the District of Bayat and most Kecamatan Wedi, still belongs to the region of Klaten Regency to the South. In addition, the study also aims to describe the political atmosphere manufacture of fiber or the work of this paper. This study used qualitative methods, including in the research literature. The object of research, reference, and referral-other referral obtained through written sources. Then confirmed by interviews with community leaders, to know the existence of the names of the food at the moment. In explaining the political atmosphere during the manufacture of Serat Centhini, researchers using the Theory of Soft Power by Joseph Nye. The resulting conclusion is that there are around 48 the name of the food that is written in the Serat Centhini. The condition of this culinary rarely heard by the public, the bias is said to have been a rare occurrence in Tembayat. About the political atmosphere,Serat Centhini was written by the candidate Pakubuwana V, while the father that Pakubuwana IV still reigned in the Kraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat. Kuliner-kuliner di Indonesia berkembang sejak dahulu sampai sekarang dan menjadi identitas di setiap daerah. Tulisan-tulisan kuno telah mencatat menu-menu kuliner Nusantara, baik di prasasti, serat kuno, lontar maupun relief candi. Namun juga terdapat menu-menu lain yang tidak tercatat dan hanya diturunkan melalui tutur lisan. Serat kuno yang menyebutkan tentang kuliner diantaranya Serat Centhini Jilid III. Serat Centhini Jilid karya putra mahkota yang bergelar Pakubuwono V dari Karaton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat. Dari sekian banyak kuliner yang disebut dalam Serat Centhini Jilid III, menyebutkan juga aneka macam kuliner dari Tembayat. Dalam penelitian ini, penelitian menggunakan studi kepustakaan dengan metode kualitatif. Sumber utama adalah Serat Centhini Jilid III, sedangkan sumber pendukungnya adalah tulisan-tulisan yang relevan. Terhitung tidak kurang dari 50 menu kuliner Tembayat yang tersaji. Semuanya yang disampaikan hanya mengenai makanan, sedangkan minuman dan jamu tidak disebutkan. Jenis makanan yang disebutkan meliputi sayuran, urapan, tumis dan lauk-pauk. Masih ada makanan yang dapat dilacak keberadaannya, namun ada makanan yang sudah tidak terdengar lagi di Bayat atau mungkin telah dimodifikasi maupun berganti nama. The objective of this study is to investigate the factors that are affecting customers' intention to use Islamic FinTech services during the Covid-19 crisis. It expands the technology acceptance model (TAM) by adding government support as a new variable for the context of Islamic FinTech services during the pandemic. Using TAM as a framework, we propose a model outlining the impact of government regulation, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived trust, and user innovativeness on consumer attitude behaviour and the intention to use Islamic FinTech services, such as payment and peer-to-peer lending. 220 sets of data were collected from an online survey and analysed using partial least squares-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The results show that government support for Islamic FinTech during the Covid-19 pandemic has had an indirect impact on attitude behaviour in using Islamic services through perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. Attitude behaviour was found to have an impact on intention.
The purpose of writing this article is to unravel the ideas of Tan Malaka as a form of contribution to the government of the Republic of Indonesia. The type of writing of this article uses the study of literature by exploring each of Tan Malaka's ideas from several of his work books as objects of study and supported by several other works of books, then analyzed inductively. Based on the results of the study, it shows that every revolutionary idea of Tan Malaka has a real contribution in his relationship to build citizens and the state, both seen from the context of nationalism, economy, politics, and human rights. Through Citizenship Education, it is fitting that Tan Malaka be placed on an equal footing with the founders of the Indonesian nation in the hope that every idea contained in his work will be used as a reference to build a better nation in the future.
This study identifies Tan Malaka's ideas in the perspective of Civic Education by exploring his great idea of Gerpolek which had published in a book. The published book supported by several other works, then analyzed in the context of Citizenship Education. Based on the results of the study shows that each of Tan Malaka's revolutionary ideas from the perspective of Citizenship Education has real contribution in the relation to build citizenship and the state, whether it seen from the context of nationalism, economics, politics, and human rights. Through Citizenship Education, it is appropriate that Tan Malaka placed in line with the national founders. His work becomes a reference in order to build the nation for the better future.
The purpose of this paper is to explore the existence of the value of patriotism through Citizenship Education in several countries with reference to Durkheim's social theory and Rousseau's politics. This paper describes the basic concepts of patriotism, types of patriotism, criticism of patriotism, patriotism in the world of education, and the importance of Citizenship Education as a form of solution in instilling patriotism values. This type of research uses the method of library study by collecting data from assessment results from primary books and scientific journals. The results of the review of several literature shows that in some countries, Citizenship Education is used as a socialization tool and has an important role in instilling patriotism values with the aim of forming citizens who have the character of caring and love for the nation and state. Tujuan penulisan ini ialah mengeksplorasi eksistensi nilai patriotisme melalui Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di beberapa negara dengan mengacu pada teori sosial Durkheim dan politik Rousseau. Tulisan ini mendeskripsikan tentang konsep dasar patriotisme, jenis-jenis patriotisme, kritik patriotisme, patriotisme di dunia pendidikan, dan pentingnya Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sebagai bentuk solusi dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai patriotisme. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data dari hasil pengkajian dari buku primer dan jurnal-jurnal ilmiah. Hasil dari pengkajian beberapa literatur menunjukkan bahwa di beberapa negara, Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dijadikan sebagai alat sosialisasi dan mempunyai peranan penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai patriotisme dengan tujuan terbentuknya warga negara yang memiliki karakter peduli serta cinta terhadap bangsa dan negara.
ABSTRACT The Bugis migration in the Indonesian archipelago, and even outside of the country, has a lengthy history. By referring to numerous sources, it can be estimated that the Bugis people have been present in Bali since the mid-17th Century. Political and economic issues are two important factors for migrating. As an ethnic group with strong faith and tradition, they have been capable of maintaining their traditions. However, when they live with Balinese who also adhere to their religion and custom, they must adapt. Though the Bugis migration community in Bali has maintained some aspects of its identity.RESUMEN La migración de Bugis en el archipiélago indonesio, e incluso fuera del país, tiene una larga historia. Al referirse a numerosas fuentes, se puede estimar que la gente Bugis ha estado presente en Bali desde mediados del siglo XVII. Las problematicas políticas y económicas son dos factores importantes para hacer la migración. Como grupo étnico con fuerte fe y tradición, han sido capaces de mantener sus tradiciones. Sin embargo, cuando viven con balineses que también se adhieren a su religión y costumbres, deben adaptarse. Aunque la comunidad de migración de Bugis en Bali ha mantenido algunos aspectos de su identidad.
The purpose of this paper is to explore the equivalency of curriculum content of universities. It examines how this equivalency can benefit the universities that offer Islamic economics programs in implementing the new policy of the Indonesian Education and Culture Minister, especially for point No. 4, known as "Merdeka Belajar: Kampus Merdeka" (Independent learning policy or Liberating policy). This study also evaluates whether or not the guidelines on implementing Islamic economic community involvement projects developed by the National Committee for Islamic Economy and Finance (Komite Nasional Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah - KNEKS) and other stakeholders can support the new policy, especially for point No. 4. This study uses content analysis from the curriculum of the ten selected universities in Indonesia that participated in developing the framework on minimum standardization across Islamic economics undergraduate programs led by KNEKS. The results of the study reveal that the ten universities are ready to implement the new policy of the Indonesian Education and Culture Minister, especially for point No. 4 known as "Merdeka Belajar: Kampus Merdeka" (Independent learning policy or Liberating policy) since a significant number of course equivalents were found across the ten universities. In addition, the guidelines on the implementation of Islamic economic community involvement projects developed by KNEKS are aligned with the new policy's guidelines on community involvement projects. The paper is expected to benefit several stakeholders, such as universities that offer Islamic economics programs, by providing them with guidelines on implementing the new policy. This research departs from the existing academic anxiety, namely photographing how the role of Islamic boarding schools, in this case Al-Muayyad as a religious education institution and agent of social change in linking between Islamic understanding and Indonesianness. In addition, this paper tries to read the pattern of shifting the narrative of the nationality of Al-Muayyad from pre-independence to post-independence Indonesia based on Islamic values developed. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, intended to describe the data obtained from observations. The analysis uses cohesion interpretation with the verstehen method, namely the interpretations sought can explain the sociological symptoms observed in accordance with the meanings given by the observed object. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that Al-Muayyad as the sālafīyāh pesantren which places Islam as mābdā 'al-hāyāh thus gives birth to Islamic character which is tāwāsüth (moderate) and inclusive. Aswaja as mānhāj al-fīkr provides a frame in the creation of Islam that respects local traditions, pluralism, multiculturalism, tolerance, democracy and other humanism values in accordance with the concept of māqāshīd al-syarī'ah which includes five basic human rights (al-küllīyāt al-khāms). Al-Muayyad as a sub-culture of society that has its own uniqueness in the next aspects of value, such as the way of life adopted, the outlook on life, the values followed, and its own internal power hierarchy that is fully adhered to. As a religious education institution and agent of social change, Al-Muayyad places moderate Islamic values and locality as a medium to build a society that is peaceful, tolerant, and appreciates the diversity that exists. In affirming national identity, Al-Muayyad is based on a dynamic Islamic understanding as a form of "Islam Nusantara", Islam that is distinctive in Indonesian-nuanced taste by promoting pluralist, populist, and national-minded values.
