Los procesos revolucionarios liberales y nacionales en la Europa de la primera mitad del siglo xix tuvieron lugar en oleadas (1820, 1830 y 1848). La revolución española de 1868 surgía en un momento aparte. Por ello, es susceptible de ser interpretada en términos de excepcionalidad. Objetivo de este trabajo es analizar cómo el éxito de la Gloriosa desafió el equilibrio europeo, frágil desde 1866. Y mostrar que esta revolución nacional, sin pretenderlo, supuso una amenaza para unos y un estímulo para otros, contribuyendo al final del orden internacional hasta entonces imperante.

[ES] Este artículo pretende profundizar en el conocimiento del partido demócrata mallorquín anterior a la revolución de Setiembre de 1868, A partir de un sintético panorama de la democracia española en los años 60, así como de sus relaciones con Italia, se ha intentado situar la democracia mallorquina en el contexto del partido demócrata español y de sus principales líderes, señalando sus estrechos contactos, al igual que sus comprometidas iniciativas. De ahí nace la imagen de una democracia mallorquina con clara identidad, valientes decisiones e íntimamente relacionada con los principales demócratas de la península imagen que explica ulteriormente la relevancia que adquiriría el grupo de demócratas mallorquines tras la Gloriosa tanto en el proceso revolucionario en la isla, como en los puestos de importancia que algunos de ellos ocuparían en la península y en el extranjero durante el Sexenio y posteriormente. Para ello se aporta una carta inédita de los demócratas mallorquines a Garibaldi - el hombre de acción de la democracia italiana del Rtsorgimento -, escrita el 18 de diciembre de 1862, incluyendo así mismo la respuesta dc Garibaldi a la felicitación de esos mallorquines, escrita desde Caprera el 21 de enero de 1863. ; Peer reviewed

In the present work, we show that T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma cells exhibit a reduction of FADD availability in the cytoplasm, which may contribute to impaired apoptosis. In addition, we observe a reduction of FADD phosphorylation that inversely correlates with the proliferation capacity and tumor aggressiveness. The resultant balance between FADD-dependent apoptotic and non-apoptotic abilities may define the outcome of the tumor. Los autores pertenecen a The dementia genetic Spanish consortium (DEGESCO). ; A non-synonymous genetic rare variant, rs75932628-T (p.R47H), in the TREM2 gene has recently been reported to be a strong genetic risk factor for Alzheimer's disease (AD). Also, rare recessive mutations have been associated with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). We aimed to investigate the role of p.R47H variant in AD and FTD through a multi-center study comprising 3,172 AD and 682 FTD patients and 2,169 healthy controls from Spain. We found that 0.6% of AD cases carried this variant compared to 0.1% of controls (odds ratio [OR]=4.12, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.21-14.00, P=0.014). A meta-analysis comprising 32,598 subjects from four previous studies demonstrated the large effect of the p.R47H variant in AD risk (OR=4.11, 95% CI: 2.99-5.68, P=5.27x10-18). We did not find an association between p.R47H and age of onset of AD or family history of dementia. Finally, none of the FTD patients harbored this genetic variant.
