Cet article étudie deux cas d'infraction en matière de chasse en Belgique : un cas de braconnage et une fraude aux plans de tir. L'analyse comparative du traitement de ces deux faits infractionnels illustre parfaitement la gestion différentielle des illégalismes, un « petit » braconnier étant traduit en justice devant les tribunaux pénaux et un « gros » chasseur bénéficiant d'une sanction administrative mineure. Ensuite, cet article poursuit l'examen des retombées liées au fait qu'une enquête relative à un chasseur puissant ait été ouverte. La restructuration d'une unité de répression des infractions en matière de chasse montre ainsi la puissance de certaines élites, parfois délinquantes. Enfin, le texte traite des clubs de chasse dans leurs manières d'aider, voire d'inciter, les chasseurs à s'arranger avec les règles. L'article s'attarde ainsi sur l'effet de protection des illégalismes de droit par des associations non-gouvernementales.

Cette contribution vise à comprendre l'expérience de détention des mineurs détenus en Établissements Pénitentiaires pour Mineurs (EPM). Les expériences carcérales seront ici approchées par l'espace d'un lieu particulier : la cellule, au travers d'une méthodologie mêlant observations, entretiens et dessins de jeunes détenus. Une lecture de l'ouvrage Asiles de Goffman sera également l'occasion d'interroger la dimension spatiale de toute vie recluse. Enfin, il s'agira de montrer, en nous centrant uniquement sur l'expérience cellulaire, comment les EPM proposent, ou pas, une « nouvelle » manière d'enfermer ; et par conséquent permettent d'interroger une mutation – qui n'en est pas vraiment une – de l'institution pénitentiaire.

Sonderpädagogik kann aktuell als sich in einem Spannungsfeld "zwischen Wirksamkeitsforschung und Gesellschaftskritik" befindlich gesehen werden. Der vorliegende Band setzt sich mit der Frage nach diesem Spannungsfeld auseinander und repräsentiert in der Vielfalt der Beiträge auch die Komplexität desselben. Die Beiträge des Bandes gehen den Fragen nach der Beziehung von Theoriebildung und (empirischer) Forschung, von Handlungspraxen und ihren (gesellschaftlichen) Bedingungen sowie von wirksamer Förderung und (umfassender) Teilhabe nach. Sie spiegeln in ihrer Darstellung aktueller Projekte und Forschungen die vielfältigen Diskurse und unterschiedlichen Forschungsfelder der gegenwärtigen Sonderpädagogik wider.

Les « quartiers d'évaluation de la radicalisation » (QER) constituent l'ossature autour de laquelle s'organise la prise en charge des détenus radicalisés dans les prisons françaises. Lors de sessions de 17 semaines, une douzaine de détenus y sont affectés à des fins d'évaluation, avant d'être orientés vers d'autres lieux de détention selon les préconisations qui en résultent. Cette contribution analyse les adaptations secondaires des détenus dans ce type d'unités, sur la base d'entretiens réalisés avec des détenus en cours d'évaluation. Dans un premier temps, nous détaillerons les tactiques quotidiennes d'adaptation au dispositif sécuritaire de l'unité, caractérisé par son haut degré de contrainte, son dispositif de surveillance renforcé, et l'intrication des activités de renseignements au fonctionnement quotidien du QER ; ces tactiques peuvent également prendre une tournure « stratégique », notamment lorsqu'il s'agit d'importer en détention des conflits géopolitiques extérieurs. Dans un second temps, nous examinerons les adaptations des détenus au processus d'évaluation proprement dit. Les refus de participer à l'évaluation sont aussi rares que les formes d'enrôlement enjoué, et ces adaptations se laissent davantage décrire comme des formes de « conformité tactique », au cours desquelles les détenus, dans un effort permanent d'autocontrôle, tentent d'éviter les faux pas, d'anticiper et de réagir à des questions et des observations dont ils font l'objet.

Given the pandemic-induced school lockdown in Germany in the spring of 2020, COVID-19 evidently had a negative impact on child and adolescent mental health and wellbeing. However, there is no evidence regarding the specific problems of students with special educational needs in emotional and behavioral disorders (E/BD) during or after the school lockdown. Thus, this study bridges the gap. A sample of 173 students across Germany was included in the analysis. The students were rated by their teachers in an online survey via a standardized teacher-report form for emotional and behavioral problems and competencies, as well as perceptions of inclusion. Several student- and teacher-level predictors were applied in a stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that the school lockdown marginally impacted E/BD, with small differences between student groups. The strongest predicting variable was students' psychosocial situation. Hence, the psychosocial situation of students should be monitored by teachers and school psychologists to provide sufficient support during lockdown.

This article is based on a sociological research, combining qualitative interviews and ethnographic observations, undertaken in "radicalization assessment units" in French prisons. We will first summarize the context of negotiating the research agreement, amidst a climate of panic on the part of political authorities who feared terrorist attacks. Then we will describe empirically the way the researchers were particular objects of surveillance on the prison grounds, in a way that was different, in its nature and unusual intensity, than the usual surveillance of other people who come into the prison. Lastly, we will show that this surveillance spreads beyond the prison walls, for example, the researchers were tailed when they left the prison. A reflexive work would explore all the ambiguities of this surveillance—from protection to control—and at the same time consider this surveillance of the researchers not as a contextual element of the study, but an object of the analysis in its own right. In doing so, this case study more broadly examines the methodological challenges of ethnography undertaken in difficult fieldwork together with a grounded theory capable of integrating into the analysis the vicissitudes and uncertainties of the research process itself.

This article is based on a sociological research, combining qualitative interviews and ethnographic observations, undertaken in "radicalization assessment units" (RAU) in French prisons. The RAUs are units that hold, for a fixed period of time, a dozen prisoners described as "Islamic terrorists" or "suspected radicalization" so that a multidisciplinary team can evaluate their degree of radicalization. In the first section we will show how the climate of terrorist attacks during the period prior to opening of the RAUs not only engendered a warlike rhetoric that would overdetermine the decline of trust in detention. It also engendered institutional improvisation whereby these special units were set up one after another without much preparation. Secondly, we will detail the RAU's security organization and the warlike relationship that grew between the guards and prisoners, between radical defiance and criminology of the Other. In the third section we will return to the evaluation work itself. During this evaluation work in the RAU, although each professional makes efforts to refine the prisoners' profiles, the job is deeply biased by an obsession to fight against the " taqîya" and against "dissimulators". Lastly, at the end of the evaluation, the evaluation summary and recommendations for final orientation are overdetermined by the imperative to avoid professional risks.

L'outil vera -2 est un instrument d'évaluation des risques spécifiquement conçu pour évaluer les risques liés au terrorisme et à l'extrémisme violent. Cet article vise à éclairer la diversité des critiques des professionnels amenés à l'utiliser quotidiennement dans les prisons françaises, au sein des « quartiers d'évaluation de radicalisation » ( qer ). Outre cet éclairage empirique relatif au processus d'évaluation des personnes considérées comme « radicalisées » dans les prisons, l'enjeu de cette contribution est de montrer comment ces critiques s'expliquent par le positionnement et l'identité professionnelle des acteurs en présence (psychologues, éducateurs, conseillers pénitentiaires d'insertion et de probation) et, simultanément, comment elles entrent en résonnance avec les critiques plus globales, académiques notamment, du tournant néo-libéral des politiques pénales

In the context of the fight against Islamist radicalization in France, prison intelligence rapidly developed from 2015 through the gradual creation of a dedicated service and a specific corps of professionals. This professionalization of prison intelligence work has deeply transformed the prison administration. This article aims to describe and analyse these transformations on the basis of an ethnographic study conducted in radicalization assessment units, which are specific units set up to assess prisoners who have committed or are suspected of committing crimes linked to radical Islam. We shall describe how the guards, probation officers, psychologists and educators participating in assessing the prisoners adapt to the new, encroaching presence of the intelligence mission. We shall analyse the forms of collaboration and competition between this staff and the prison intelligence officers. Lastly, we will examine criticism of the intelligence activity in the radicalization assessment units voiced by various professionals. The interpenetration of the assessment work and the intelligence mission – which are formally distinct missions – produces a specific type of knowledge relating to radicalized prisoners: a reproduction of certain representations or 'profiles'.
