The professionalization of educators within adult education has been the focus of educational research for a few years. This publication presents a critical systematisation, differentiation and innovative continuation of the current specialist discourse. Thereby, there is a particular focus on the change of organisation and vocation within the pedagogical sector and the resulting options of professionalization.
