Agriculture remains one of the main sectors that play an important role in both the country's economic development and strategic security. Therefore, conducting an ongoing study of this component in the country is relevant. The purpose of the study was to determine the competitive opportunities of agricultural holdings in Ukraine. The methods of scientific cognition that were used in the work were abstract and logical, dialectical, general scientific and statistical methods, methods of historical and logical observation, analysis and synthesis. This study analyses the competitiveness of Ukrainian agricultural production, in particular by such indicators as: dynamics of gross harvest, yield and acreage of the main agricultural crops, balance of agricultural production, export of agricultural products and their processed products during 2000-2023. The methods that need to be implemented to make the agro-industrial complex competitive in the global market are also proposed. The results of this research on the competitiveness of Ukrainian agricultural holdings in international markets, and the conclusions drawn on their basis, are of significant importance, as they prove that powerful agricultural holdings operate in Ukraine, characterised by dynamic capabilities, increase their capacities, attract unused arable land, and effectively use the potential of resources and crops. In addition, the development of world markets for agricultural products is promising for agricultural holdings, because Ukraine is geographically located almost in the centre of international trade networks, and exports in some strategic areas will help agricultural enterprises avoid uncertainty and possible large losses. The assessment of agricultural holdings, namely Kernel and Myronivsky Hlibprodukt, showed that even in war conditions, agricultural companies have opportunities to develop and enter international markets. The findings obtained in the framework of the study can be used both by representatives of the public sector to form policies in this area, and by enterprises to create long-term development strategies.

The corporate social responsibility (CSR) landscape of Ukraine's retail sector underwent profound and global transformations during the COVID-19 pandemic and the extensive Russian incursion into Ukraine in 2022. These transformations were precipitated by rapid changes in the operational activities of the retail sector's enterprises, resulting from significant external disruptions. Consequently, the primary objective of this study is to analyse the indicators of the CSR status of Ukraine's retail enterprises and ascertain the extent of the changes that occurred due to the pandemic and Russia's incursion. The study also aims to determine the influence of these transformations on CSR initiatives and identify key issues within the realm of corporate social responsibility in Ukraine's retail sector. To quantify these changes, indicators of CSR status encompassing key aspects of corporate social responsibility (economic, legal, environmental, and social indicators) were selected (Carroll, 1979). To achieve the set objectives, research methods such as analysis (measuring CSR indicators), comparison (relating the examined indicators chronologically), induction (identifying specific factors affecting the overall CSR status of retail enterprises), and deduction (determining the nature of the impact of the overall CSR status on its individual aspects) were employed. Throughout the investigation, the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic along with the comprehensive Russian incursion into Ukraine on the CSR status of retail enterprises was revealed. It was observed that enterprises reduced nonessential and irrelevant activities at that time not only to support stakeholder interests and enhance working conditions for employees, but also to aid community support.

Companies are encouraged to commit for an improvement of the production pro-cesses' sustainability and are asked to align their strategies to the sustainable de-velopment principles. In this regard, the relevance of the research is to determine the effectiveness of the introduction of the developed technologies of the protein-carbohydrate semi-finished product in order to expand the range of protein foods, increase their biological value, as well as create products that meet the require-ments of healthy eating. The research purpose is to determine the level of pro-spects for implementing the strategies of enterprises of introducing semi-finished products based on the targeted use of protein-carbohydrate milk nutrients in the conditions of insufficient consumption of milk and dairy products, the decrease of stock, and the reduction of their production in Ukraine. The main methodology of this work based on complex analysis with account the scientific and technical, economic, social, environmental, marketing effects. In addition, method of implic-it logic has been applied to generalize the results of scientific development and evaluate the prospects of its implementation in practice. The article shows that in the conditions of insufficient consumption of milk and dairy products, the de-crease of stock, and the reduction of their production in Ukraine, introducing semi-finished products based on the targeted use of protein-carbohydrate milk nutrients will help solve the problem of providing high protein and other nutrients. In addi-tion, the level of prospects for implementing the results of scientific work in the practice of enterprises has been identified. The generalized assessment of the po-tential of scientific developments taking into account scientific and technical, eco-nomic, social, ecological, marketing effects proved the high level of their effec-tiveness. The practical significance of study determined by the possibility of appli-cation the proposed methodological apparatus, which will effectively carry out foreign economic activity, assess the benefits of the organization, control the or-ganization's own resources, effectively assess environmental factors to respond quickly, implement sustainable innovative development strategies and investment policy.
