Die USA sind nach wie vor die führende Macht in den internationalen Wirtschaftsbeziehungen, diese Rolle wird ihnen auch von der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und Japan nicht streitig gemacht. Jedoch werden beide Staaten größere internationale Verantwortung übernehmen müssen, um zum einen den USA ihren wirtschaftlichen Anpassungsprozeß an die neuen internationalen Rahmenbedingungen zu erleichtern und zum anderen das Hauptziel der internationalen Wirtschaftsbeziehungen eines ausreichend großen und stabilen weltwirtschaftlichen Wachstums zu erreichen. Auf diesem Wege lassen sich für die dringendsten internationalen Wirtschaftsprobleme Lösungen finden. (SWP-Bmt)
