Relato de experiência acerca da ação de extensão na realização do I – seminário "Gênero, Saúde e Enfermagem: ressignificando o sujeito", com objetivo de estimular na população as discussões de gênero e o respeito pelo grupo LGBTs e pelo grupo feminista, a estratégia vislumbra o empoderamento dos grupos com informações e articulações políticas que fortaleçam as lutas pela garantia dos seus direitos, assim como articular uma reorganização da assistência à saúde ao grupo LGBTs. O evento ocorreu em 20 de maio de 2016, realizado pelo 3º período do Curso de Enfermagem da Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte, na Casa da Cultura, em Pau dos Ferros-RN, o qual teve como público comunidade acadêmica e a população em geral. Aonde foi montado uma mesa redonda com representação do grupo LGBTs, grupo feminista, profissional de saúde e pesquisadores na área. O seminário contou com 56 participantes e gerou contribuições valiosas para Academia e população, a troca mútua da partilha de conhecimentos promoveu à experiência da propagação do saber científico e a quebra de preconceitos aos grupos LGBTs, contribuindo para uma sociedade mais justa e igualitária.

Objective: to characterize the clinical-epidemiological profile and habits of life of HIV-positive adults. Methods: this is a descriptive, cross-sectional and quantitative study with a sample of 331 HIV-positive people with outpatient scheduling between February and August 2014 in a reference hospital from Natal/RN. Data collection was conducted through a semi-structured interview. Results: the results showed a predominance of men (52%), young people (42%) natural from the capital (58%), brown color (53%), single (56%), heterosexual (79%), poor (68%). Most of them held the first anti-HIV test for less than five years (60%), had signs and symptoms of AIDS before the test (90%), were hospitalized (90%), started HAART for less than five years (60%), suppose they have good knowledge of the disease (75%), and believe that their health has improved (92%). Most of them do not consume alcohol (71%), are non-smokers (88%), do not use illicit drugs (92%) and had never used preservatives before diagnosis (62%). Conclusion: the identified profile follow the national trends.

Objective: To provide undergraduate students with the experience of the expanding of the scope of primary health care in activities of home care, introducing complex care activities of home care, for the understanding of the interfaces of the Health Care System. Methods: A report of experience in nursing education with case study, application of NANDA and Calgary Model. Results: The home care is an important tool of technology for access to families and nursing care system in the context of the public policies of health care to the elderly. Conclusion: The primary home care co-existed with complex nursing care and is imperious the expansion of the Family Health Strategy with the constitution of teams for activities of home care, different from family health teams, but in the context of primary care, according to the social demands emerging.

Objective:to verify habits and behavior of the drivers and their correlation to the usage of safety equipment. Method:cross-sectional study using a household survey of an explanatory nature. Community health workers conducted interviews in 3,482 of Caraúbas, state of Rio Grande do Norte. Results: there is a low adherence to wearing traffic safety equipment, specifically seatbelt and helmet, and the population does not understand the continuous usage as a healthy behavior. The association with socioeconomic variables shows the evidence of groups possibly more vulnerable to accidents than others. Stands out the low adherence of safety equipment while moving around the city, possibly due to the misunderstanding of the risks, justified by the short distances of the rides and the not policed streets. Conclusion: The increase of the powered mobility due to the improvement of the population's income, the low adherence of the seatbelt and helmet and the ineffectiveness of the government oversight make the situation a serious public health problem.
