The objective of this article is to demonstrate how the historical debate between materialism and idealism, in the field of Philosophy, extends, in new clothes, to the field of Quantum Physics characterized by realism and anti-realism. For this, we opted for a debate, also historical, between the realism of Albert Einstein, for whom reality exists regardless of the existence of the knowing subject, and Niels Bohr, for whom we do not have access to the ultimate reality of the matter, unless conditioning it to the existence of an observer endowed with rationality, position adopted in the Interpretation of Complementarity (1927) - posture that was expanded in 1935 when Bohr assumed a "relationalist" conception, according to which the quantum state is defined by the relationship between the quantum object and the entire measuring device. This is an extremely important debate, as it further consolidates the results of nascent Quantum Mechanics, guaranteeing Bohr the leadership of the orthodoxy based on the interpretation of complementarity. Here, when dealing with Quantum Theory, we will not make any distinction between the terms Quantum Physics, Quantum Theory or Quantum Mechanics. The entire discussion will be held under the name "Quantum Theory". Theory that tries to analyze and describe the behavior of physical systems of reduced dimensions, close to the sizes of molecules, atoms and subatomic particles. We hope that the reader will appreciate the genius of these two titans in this field of Physics when they magnificently formulate the arguments that support the object of their defenses.

The purpose of this paper is to present the foundations of metaphysical atomism from the production of knowledge in classical antiquity. It is not necessarily opening any kind of discussion about the production of contemporary knowledge about the reality of the atom. It is to present the theoretical foundations of Greek base, whose effects were felt in later developments of the metaphysical atomism. Thus, the intention is not to present a specific work of the History of Philosophy and History of Science, but rather a study of the philosophy of science in the context of its history; therefore faced the question of what would be the epistemic competence that defines philosophy in its essence, we found another way to try to determine it unless referring to his own story.

Trata-se de pesquisa que objetiva analisar a formulação normativa do parágrafo único do art. 647 do Código de Processo Civil, para esclarecer os principais pontos controvertidos sobre a natureza da tutela sumária nela prevista e a sua aplicação no âmbito do inventário e da partilha. Foi utilizado como método a abordagem qualitativa, por meio da análise exploratória de bibliografia e de julgados de Tribunais de Justiça e do Superior Tribunal de Justiça. A pesquisa demonstra o modo pelo qual as regras do ordenamento jurídico material dialogam com o processo civil e apresentam os contornos das técnicas procedimentais e jurisdicionais. Ao final, a pesquisa analisa as consequências práticas de cada um dos pontos controvertidos, especialmente quanto à quota do herdeiro beneficiado.

Purpose
In recent years, efforts to reinforce the links between corporate social responsibility and human resource management have highlighted employees' role as crucial organizational stakeholders. This study aims to investigate whether workers' perception of socially responsible human resource management (SR-HRM) based on employee-focused practices is related to work engagement (WE). This research also explored whether perceived organizational support (POS) and affective commitment (AC) can contribute to explaining this relationship. Social exchange theory and job demands-resources model were used to theoretically frame the research.


Design/methodology/approach
Data were collected from a sample of 222 employees working in diverse organizations, using individual online surveys. Several analyses were conducted to assure data robustness to common method bias.


Findings
The results confirm that SR-HRM fosters WE and that this effect is subject to sequential mediation by POS and AC. Accordingly, SR-HRM practices contribute to higher level of POS, which then foster stronger affective bonds with employers and, in turn, higher levels of vigor, absorption and dedication among workers.


Originality/value
The findings contribute to the expansion of the SR-HRM literature by providing a deeper understanding of how this management strategy affects employees' job-related attitudes, particularly WE a much-overlooked variable in this realm.

Recent research has found that human resource (HR) practitioners judge the acceptability of ethically questionable practices based on the importance their organization attributes to ethical infrastructure (e.g., codes of conduct) and corporate social responsibility practices. This study sought to evaluate the effects of ethical leadership and the aforementioned factors on other non-HR organizational actors. More specifically, this research examined how these individuals judge the acceptability of three ethically dubious HR management practices: discrimination, disregard for the individual, and favoring those in power. Results obtained from data collected through an online survey indicate that ethical leadership is negatively associated with the acceptability of all three practices. Individuals in organizations with a stronger ethical infrastructurealso find discrimination and disregard for the individual less acceptable. The same is true of participants in organizations perceived as more socially responsible regarding employees and economic aspects.
